(Jieun’s POV)
“Where should we go next?” I asked this time. “anywhere” he answered.
I looked at him. “You’re not a very fun person are you?”
“You’re not either.” He talked back.
We sat down at the park near the restaurant. “Before we get married, I have a question.” I said, he looked at me. “I know you like Jiyoung, are you ok with all this happening.”
“Do I really make it that obvious?” he asked, “it’s not like I have a choice”
The sun was setting and both of us watched it. “In front of our parents we have to pretend that we’re close, I don’t want them to feel bad.” I told him. He nodded.
“I’ll catch up to you later, I got to go, it’s getting late, bye.” I waved.
(Hongki’s POV)
“Did everything go well?” mum asked. I nodded and went into my room. I’ll have so much trouble dealing with people at school. I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket. I took it out of my pocket and looked and the caller id, Jiyoung.
“hello?” I answered. “Hi Hongki, can you come out for a second? I have something to tell you.”
“where do you want me to meet you?”
“at the park near your house, I’ll see you soon.”
I hung up and walked out of the house. I saw a figure sitting on a swing and realised it was Jiyoung. She looked over at me, “oh! Hongki, you’re here! Come sit!” She offered me the swing next to her and I sat down. “I know this may sound weird but it’s troubling me a lot.” She started.
“What is it…?”
“When I broke up with Kyuhyun, you were there for me… since then, I haven’t once forgotten about you… I can’t stop thinking about you” Her sentence shocked me. “I just wanted to share my feelings with you if you don’t mind, it was bothering me.” She continued.
What does this mean? Does she like me? What about the marriage, should I tell her?
