Chapter 3/ Dangerous date

*One week later*

(Hongki’s POV)

I looked at my watch “Didn’t mum say that we were meeting here at this time? Or is she late?” I mumbled to myself. I was waiting for the ‘her’ who I don’t even know. I looked beside me and I recognised the person standing there, it was the girl in my class.

“Did you stalk me?” I asked which caused to startle. “no, I’m waiting for someone who I don’t even know myself.” She answered.

 “Your life is too similar to mine”.

“Who are you waiting for?” She asked curiously.

“I don’t even know myself.” I answered back.

She looked at her watch. “If this person doesn’t show up, I’m going to kill him next time I meet him for wasting my time.” She complained.

 Wait a minute… She’s waiting for a guy that she doesn’t know and I’m waiting for a girl I don’t know… “What does your dad work as?” I asked her to make sure. “A president of a company…” Her eyes went wide opened. “Don’t tell me… nah… it can’t be, you’re too trashy to be… maybe you are… “ She said, half talking to herself. “I think I am…” I said.

She shot me a question. “Does your mum the head of a company?” She asked just like I did. “yes…”

We both laughed.

(Jieun’s POV)

This was the first time I’ve seen his laugh, it was kind of… cute. I could feel my face turning red and starting to burn. “How much make-up did you put on? Your face is like red.” He said stupidly causing me to blush even harder.

“So… you’re going to be my future husband?” I said while examining him. “Where do you want to go first?” He asked.

“To eat, I’m hungry since I’ve been waiting for a person who was right next to me.”

We went to the closest restaurant to eat, just as we got in, we found Suzy and one of my other friend, Yuri sitting next to the only empty table available in the restaurant. We slid out quietly and noticed that there was no other restaurant then this one. My stomach had to grumble at that time. “Were you that desperate to see me?” He asked teasing me.

 Just then, Suzy and Yuri walked away and we thought they were leaving through the back door cause it was closer to them. We took this chance and walked into the restaurant thinking that they were gone.

 We were looking at our menus when I noticed Suzy’s phone was left behind. It was too late to even react when I saw Suzy walking back in, probably to find her phone that she left behind. “Hide yourself” I told Hongki and he finally realised what was happening. We hid our faces behind our menus while Suzy walked back to where she was sitting before and grabbed her phone. She was finally gone after telling Yuri how stressed she was when she realised she left her phone.

“We can never tell anyone that we’re getting married, not even our friends, until we actually get married, deal?” I said.

It seemed like he liked the idea and nodded in agreement.
