A group of mutants walked in, they all wore serious looks. Except Quicksilver of course, who quickly raced into his husband's arms. "Really you two? Can you be serious for one minute?" Logan asked angrily, watching them do their little mushy romance thing. "My limit is fifteen seconds so make it snappy." Peter, AKA Quicksilver, said. The two moved in front of the kids on the couch, Kurt wrapping his arm around Peter of course. "So...?" Adrien started, watching his mom glare towards him. "What'd we do this time?" Diablo asked.
"You didn't do anything. This is more of a matter of what you COULD do." Logan answered. "What could we do? I mean we aren't even capable of drinking milk out the carton without feeling bad." Sylvia stated then coughed, "Sarah" She said while averting her eyes. "That was a one time thing alright! And it was the last sip so of course I bought more!" Sarah yelled and pointed at Sylvia, who was pretending to not pay attention. "Alright Alright you two! Quiet down already, we're talking about your powers, and what you can do with those." Storm stated, making the two close their mouth. The kids faced their parents. "So you aren't mad at us about the incident?" Adrien asked then quickly shut his mouth. Everyone turned to him. "What incident?" the professor asked. "That's off topic!" Gayle squeaked, kicking Adrien. "owww..."
"We can talk about this incident in a minute but let's cut to the chase." Cyclops said. "We've seen a massive growth in ALL of your mutant powers." Logan began. "Well I haven't." Adrien argued. "Close your mouth and listen." Mystique told her son. He shut his mouth and faced the professor. "What's some examples?" Cyclops pondered for a second. "Well, I've noticed that Gayle has been constantly getting faster, maybe even faster then Peter." Jean pointed out. "Making her father proud!" Peter added in the background. "And Adrien was able to successfully shape-shift into an adult the other day, which is quite outstanding." Kurt stated, making him smile a bit. "And we can't forget Sarah boiling ramen the other day, such precision was excellent." The professor smiled. The kids faces lit up. "And when Sylvia made it snow that day!" Logan stated, smirking for a second. "I found it acceptable that Diablo could lift those hundred pound weights." Mystique added, face showing no emotion, but by deserving a complement from her made Diablo's day.
"See, you all are growing pretty powerful. I haven't seen a group of students grow as efficiently in years!" The professor stated. "Then why do you have such grim faces?" Diablo asked. The light mood turned serious again. "And we're back at square one.." Gayle mumbled to herself. "The thing is... it's that at some point we will move on to different things, some of us will grow old, and some of us will go on more.. complicated.. missions." Cyclops started. "And where do we come in?" Sylvia asked.
"We were thinking of possibly sending you guys on your own missions, but in order to do this we must observe you're weaknesses and strengths." The professor stated. "So you're gonna like, stalk us?" Gayle asked, turning to her dad's with an obvious 'heck no' look. "It's more like you'll be spending more time with them." He pointed back to the parents. "You'll spend time with a select few of them to learn about your powers and how others view your powers." He said.
"We start tomorrow." He ended, gesturing them to leave.
