He consumes my thoughts and invaded my dreams - Unknown
I ran out of my hospital room and prayed that my legs will stay together. I sprinted towards every room I could find. I finally found Jack's room. I entered his room which immediately woke him up.
"Jack, where is your Grandmother?" He looked so surprised to see me.
"Racheal, go get some rest I'm calling your doctor." He said.
"No you can't! Where is your Grandmother?" I needed to stop the doctor from operating on her.
"Why does it matter?" Jack asked.
"It's important! Where is she?" I almost screamed.
"She's in operating room 9." He explained. I don't know what to do. How could I stop a well-trained doctor from doing his job, when I have no good reason to stop him.
"We need to go right now." Jack nodded.
"If I walk another step I will definitely collapse" I explained.
"Okay, take this one, my Grandma used it but you can now." He smiled at me.
"Thanks." I smiled back. After I got into the wheelchair I told Noah about my dream. And he totally believed me.
"Jack, are you lost?" He nodded.
"Jack, it's important!" I explained.
" I know, but this hospital is really big." I agreed.
"Jack, go through those doors." He pushed me.
Jack pushed me through the doors only to find a nightmare. He watched as his Grandmother died at the hands of a drunk doctor. Jack watched just as he did in my dream.
"Jack... I'm sorry." I said. He didn't say anything he just held my hand.
If we made it through those doors a minute earlier maybe Jack's Grandmother would still be alive but fate isn't something you can play with, or is it?
