Falling in love is like rain. it's unpredictable, but there are always signs before it starts to fall. -Unknown

We got in the car, and Jack started driving to our secret destination.

"I can't wait to see the surprise." I said.

"You'll like it." He said.

We drove into a plaza with lots of shops. The sky was getting dark and it looked like it was going to rain.

"Is your surprise outdoors?" I asked.

"No, it's inside." He said.

"Okay, I wouldn't want to get wet if it rained." I pointed out my window towards the sky.

He parked the car in front of a fancy restaurant. We got out, and started walking across the street.

Then suddenly a black car came out of nowhere and tried to run me over. Luckily Jack pulled me out of the way. I was horrified, I've never been more scared in all of my life.

"Racheal, are you okay?" He asked.

At first I didn't know what to say I was half angry and half terrified.

"Yeah, I'm fine..... just a little shocked I guess." I said.

He put his arm over me as we continued to walk into the restaurant. We walked inside as a waiter approached us.

"Table for 2." Jack said.

"Follow me." The waiter said.

We sat down in a fancy booth and ordered drinks.

"A small sprite please." I said.

"Make that 2 sprites please." Jack said.

The waiter walked away, as Jack leaned in closer to me.

"I can't believe that someone was driving so fast and almost hit you." He said.

"I know, that was pretty crazy." I said.

"But seriously are you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah... I'm fine." I answered.

Our drinks came and we ordered our food.

"I will have the Cesar salad please." I said.

"And I will have the lobster roll." Jack said.

The waiter nodded and walked away. My head started spinning, I became very dizzy.

Darkness.
