You should embrace that which defines you - Unknown
I went home from the hospital on a Saturday night. When I got home my phone buzzed. The message was from Jack.
*Hi*
*Hi**Are you feeling better?*
*Yes*
*Do you want to go on a date tonight?*
*Where would we go?*
*It's a surprise :)*
*Okay, can u pick me up @ 8?*
*I will be there :)*
*I can't wait.*
That night at 7 I was getting ready for my date, to be honest I was very nervous. I didn't know what to wear. Should I wear a dress? Should I wear jeans? Where are we going for our date? Again my phone beeped.
*Racheal, I'm so sorry but I'm going to be late.*
*It's fine... what's wrong ?*
*Nothing....something came up.*
*Okay... text me when your done.*
*Okay, I promise it won't take long.*
My heart sank. The first time we had a date, and he already screwed it up before it began. I didn't want to be mad at him, but I felt like he let me down.
I put jeans, converse, and a lacy red shirt on. It seemed to match my long brown hair.
I kept waiting; 8:00 PM
My hope was fading with every minute that passed. Finally, I got a text.
*Hey Racheal, sorry I'm late I'm driving down your street right now.*
*It's okay.*
*I'm at your house.*
*Okay I'm coming.*
*Can't wait to see you :)*
*Me too :)*
I walked outside in a hurry, I was so exited to see him.
He got out of his car and ran up to me, and kissed me. And I kissed him back.
