"Jack. Jack."

He smooths my hair down. "It's okay, Elsa. You're okay now. I won't let them hurt you." his arms tighten around me.

"Then can you put me down now?"

His arms flex before restricting, setting me down slowly beside him on the couch.

He looks at me with shinning cerulean eyes. "Do you want to tell me why you almost let them kill you?"

I flinch at how harsh his words are. "I didn't mean too. They bring out your biggest fears and they make them real. I would never-"

"Bullshit. Suicide isn't a fear. At least not for you. It would have been a release." his voice hardens.

I take a deep breath, trying, and failing, to meet his eyes. "I don't know what you want me to say."

"How about the truth?" he raises his eyebrows.

I clench my trembling fists. "I've never once lied to you. I may have withheld information, but I've never lied. Not to you."

"What's the difference really?"

My eyes start to tear up. "Jack, I promise that I have never wanted to keep things from you. And I've never been able to lie to you. I withheld the entire truth to protect you and Hiccup. I just found him and I've just started to get to know you. I don't want to lose either of you. Please, you have to believe me. I never wanted to hurt any of you." I plead, my voice turning into a thinned tremble.

Jack sighs, his eyes softening. He wraps his arms around me and I bury my head in his chest, inhaling the cold wintery smell of him.

"Please don't cry." he lifts my head up and wipes away my stray tears. "You're to beautiful to be sad."

I hiccup a laugh and he chuckles.

"And I believe you. But no more secrets, okay? First thing tomorrow,  you need to tell Hiccup everything. He deserves to know what's happening." he looks at me seriously.

I nod, sniffling. "Yeah I know. You're right. But... I don't know. He'd be so mad at me." I whimper. "I don't want to lose my brother again, Jack."

He shakes his head. "You could never lose him. He loves you, Elsa. He just wants to keep you safe." he grabs my hand in his. "We all do."

The tears start falling faster. "You can't." I cry. "There is no more hope for me. Not anymore. I can't ever leave this place. I'm never going to be able to have a normal life."

His hood on me tightens. "What do you mean?"

I pull away from him and stand up. I run my finger through my long, now matted, hair. "I've had more than one curse on me. That's why Eugene has stayed with me all these years. He tries to focus his visions on finding the solution to it. But, now that the answers been found, it's no use."

He stands up in excitement. "Well, what's the answer then?"

I bury my face in my hands. "There is no answer. I can never leave. She made sure of that when she left that damned tree."

Jack's smile fades. "What tree?"

"The Willow Tree. It's magic. It grows one apple everytime a new doppelganger of herself Is born. That is part of a whole other curse. But the original Ice Queen... Something happened during her life, sometime after the Great Freeze. She became a horrible person."

"But what does that have to do with you?" he sits back down as I begin to pace.

"Well, she had a suitor you see. They were the perfect couple. She was the most beautiful woman in that time and he was her perfect match in every way. He loved her more than life itself, and she him. But a few years after The Freeze, He decided to ask her to marry him. She turned him down so horribly it makes me sick. He left Arendelle without another word.
