About two months ago I found out I was pregnant and now I'm three months along
My husband of a year and half,Christopher, had been on tour for the past two months and is coming home tonight, for Father's Day!
I had an ultrasound so I took the picture and taped it to a card I had bought.
When he gets home, he comes through the front door with his luggage. I flatten my hoodie down since it was kinda cold and it hid my tiny bump
"Hey babe" I hug him pressing my lips to his cold cheek,
"Hi" he says taking off his jacket leaving him in his white tee
He takes his luggage to our room and comes back and sits down on the couch obviously very tired.
I pick up the card from the counter and walk over to him, he is sitting with his eyes closed hands folded on his lap. I sit down on the couch and he opens his eyes and I give him the card.
"What's this?" He asks taking it and starts opening the envelope. He takes the card out and reads it out loud.
"Happy Father's Day daddy! I can't wait to meet you in 6 months!" He chokes up in the end and looks at the ultrasound picture.
He puts the card on the coffee table by our feet, he picks me up and lifts my hoodie revealing my bump, he kisses it.
"I can't believe it, were having a baby!" He kisses my lips while holding my bump.
"Happy Father's Day." I say resting my forehead on his looking in his eyes.
