The bell rang and I grabbed my backpack to head towards lunch. My friend y/f/n rushed up towards me with a huge smile.
"why are you smiling so much?" I asked her as we walked out of the hallway.
"Just follow me" she ordered, but I didn't "Y/N just come on"
I finally gave in and followed her into the courtyard. People were all whispering as they saw me. I still have no idea but was going on. Y/f/n and me walked more until we came across a red carpet. Different color petals were scattered across the carpet, it lead to a curtain. I quickly turned towards y/f/n who put a crown on my head.
"Just walk," she told me to and I did.
I had an idea of what was going on Chris was asking me out for prom. What else would this be for. As the idea settled in all of me started by John Legend started playing, my eyes brimmed with tears. Chris's friends held up signs as I walked by. Y/n here are 5 reasons why I love you!
1: you make me laugh
2: you're smart!
3: your beautiful
4: I can tell you anything
5: you're the only person I want
The last sign said now I have one last question
The curtain opened and it revealed Chris. His sign said " will you be my princess to prom?" He held out flowers to me and I took them. I quiet literally jumped into his arms and whispered "yes" like a million times. People everywhere were gathered around the courtyard with their phones out as they cheered for us. "I love you so much" I said as I pulled away from the hug. "Just - o wow."
Chris smiled widely. " I love you more babe."
