A couple days in the Oak got me down on practice. Kanatu  was taking me to a clearing behind the great tree. I walked across him, swaying. My silver paws shook as they carried me. By the time I got the my side, my rib was on fire. I turned and my ribs screamed in pain.  Kanatu takes a cautious step forward. I shake my head and he takes his step back. He waits for my recovery. I look at his position. He is about 3 wing lengths from a tree that dared to step into the open clearing. He stood paws close and eyes a bit more open then usual. I knew this would hurt more than when Nishuta attempted to scorch my fur. But I charge forward with all my strength.  I swerve to the side and Kanatu took a step back putting a tiny amount of distance between us. I crashed into him and he stumbled back, perfectly on the daring trees trunks.
