The Cursed Place

The next battle

"The next step,its a bit difficult but i know we all want salvation from this curse,so we'll have to fight." Father said as our faces turned fearful.

"What we'll have to do?" Austin asked as he got up from where he was seated.

"A Sacrifice." Father said and we were all like...OMG!! A SACRIFICE...

"What do you mean by sacrifice? Which sacrifice??" Jack asked as our faces turned blue from fear of this theory.

I dont wanted to lose my another friend. I missed Scott like hell. I loved him,infact I still love him and losing another one of us was the worst nightmare i could ever get.

"Sacrifice of a goddess." He said as we sat there blankly at the word 'GODDESS'

"Can you please elaborate father. No more riddles please." I said as I got up from beside him.

I totally hated that place. It gave me chills. And I hated that lady lydia who always gave me death stares. I just wanted to get rid of that place thats all I wanted.

"Ok my child. Listen carefully then, We will have to sacrifice the goddess of Drought. And dont think that she'll come herself and will tell us to sacrifice her. We'll have to call her,and remember its too dangerous." He said as he sighed a long sigh.

"But how will we call her then." Austin asked as he raised his eye brow.

I was totally shocked at that new shit father was telling us. I mean like, come on, is there supposed to be a goddess of drought also.

"One of you will have to danger your life. She will only come when the soul of that village girl and her twin babies would allow. And we'll have to perform a ritual in order to complete this move." He said as he gave all of us a look of horror.

"What ritual? What will it take?" Anna asked as she gulped twice.

" Tonight, One of you will be chosen to perform this ritual with me. The Goddess of Drought will only come when she is permitted by the soul of the young village girl and her twin babies. And to make it work we'll have to show that we're sacrificing one of you. Maybe, only then she'll permitt her, this curse and souls of both of them are very powerful. We'll have to make it work at any cost." He said with a look of utter fear on his face.

We were all so afraid that I cant even express. Father told us to go home as he'll prepare for the ritual.

We got home with that freaking lady and sat on the couch.

"Is this the last step of this curse being removed?" I asked as I walked up to the old lydia.She turned towards me and stood there for a moment without replying.

"No my child. The worst step is about to come after that ritual." She said as she patted my back.

"Why? Why only us in this whole fucking world?" I half yelled as I removed her hand from my back.

"Calm down baby. Calm down. Its all destined. No one can change our destiny. You just calm down. I promise I wont let something happen to you" Austin said as he seated me beside him and wiped my tears.

"Look guys, its of no use of crying now, we all have to be strong and support each other." Kate said as she rubbed my back.

"Children, I can understand your feelings. I know how you feel but you'll have to fight no matter what. Go to sleep child, you all must be tired." She said as she pecked my cheek and I gave her a death stare. But she smiled and patted my back.

Austin took me to his room and I slept with him. After sleeping for atleast an hour, i woke up to the sound of knocking on the window.

Austin was fast asleep beside me,his hand was wrapped around me so,i slowly got rid of his grip and opened the window.

What I saw gave me a complete heartattack....!!
