Kate

-I'm Stefan Salvatore and he is Damon Salvatore. You're our niece from your mother bloodline-

That was pretty confusing, in 17 years my grandmother didn't tell me anything about my uncles... Well, she didn't tell me anything regarding my family at all.
When I saw them I was surprised. Really? 2 months ago I hadn't got a family and now I discover that I have other 2 uncles. That was really fucked up.

I hesitated to say hello to them, I'm just saying, 2 men that I didn't even knkw the existence that can easily kill me in front of my family's eyes. Well, the last thing maybe not... But that's the point, these men appeared from apparently nowhere and practically said "Hi, we're your dead mother's brothers, nice to meet ya"

I shook my head and asked confused -What?-

-I know it's hard to trust that we appeared after 16 years, but...- Stefan said

-But?-

They didn't answer so I turned my gaze on my father, he was totally serious and that made me think that it wasn't a joke or something -But what?- I repeated

-But your grandmother's a bitch and made a spell that made you invisible to all the vampires, warewolves and hybrids near here- Damon said

-That's why I couldn't see you for all this time- my father said

-So this is not a joke?-

-Why would it be?- Damon said

I smiled and came near them, I opened my arms and hugged them. I turned my gaze to encounter the blondie's one

-Who is she?- I asked

My father came near her and put his hand on her waist -Well, Kate, she is Caroline Forbes, she is my fiancée-

-Future wife, actually-

The happiness disappeared from my face. It just can't be. WHY?!

-And... Kate, why don't you show Caroline the city and maybe go shopping?-

I rolled my eyes and said -yes. Why not?-

I took that chienne to the best shops I knew. She bought a black shawl, a black cap and a multicolour dress, she looked like a Cajun... Well, a younger and talentless version of Stevie Nicks.

-Where are we going now?-

I grinned and said -to a special place, nothing to worry about, princess- I said

-What kind of place?-

I smiled at her and stopped next to the graveyard's gate

-Why did we- she stopped herself when she saw that I opened the gate

-Here we go- I said.

-Why are we in the graveyard?-

-Follow me-

I brought her near my mother gravestone and said -here we are-

-Elizabeth Salvatore... Is she...?-

-Yes, she's my mother-

-Why you brought me here?-

-I wanted to show you her. Look she was blonde, just like you. It's not a surprise that father choose you-

-Hey! He choose me because I am myself. Kate, acce-

-Don't lie to yourself, sweety. He choose you because you remember him my mother- I lowered my gaze, but just a second after I yelled -YOU WON'T EVER BE LIKE HER!-

-Hey! Calm down!-

-No! You. Are. Nothing. For. Me-

-I want to go away- she turned herself and saw an opened coffin

I took a brick from the ground and hit her with all my strength

She fell senseless in the coffin, I slowly closed it and ordered to the undertaker to do whatever he wanted to with it. He grinned and obeyed

-Stupid bitch- then I looked to the undertaker  and said -Thanks Finn. You're not as useless as my father is used to tell me-

-We're allies-

I put my hand on his arm -help me to find my mother and I'll find a way to give you your body back-

Back at the mansion I found my father sat on the couch, clearly waiting for Caroline

-Welcome back, Kate. Why is not Caroline with you, my dear?-

-She was in the shoe shop. She was looking for a pair of high heels for your wedding-

He smiled and kissed my forehead

-I'm glad you handle it-

-I'm glad too- I smiled for a second and made my way to my bedroom
