Chapter 17: Cheers

New Orleans

3 person POV

-It can't be- Klaus muttered

-Klaus, is she your wife?-

-No, no! SHE'S A LIAR!- he walked near Elizabeth and said -who are you-

-First you close me in a coffin and then you marry that hooker-

-Take back what you just said, little bitch- Caroline shouted

Elizabeth's eyes were wide opened, she raised her hand and with her glove (that had a knife on the tipe of the index finger) cut Caroline's throat and then she licked the blood on the blade -now that I'm out, this is my house. I'm the new queen of New Orleans-

Klaus threw himself to help Caroline, that was temporarily senseless on the floor. Everybody were petrified, especially for Kate. Was she her actual mother? Was she the daughter of a monster that was even more evil than her father? Was that real? Like for real?

Kate POV

The wedding finished with a heartbreak and a senseless Caroline on the floor. She fell like a potato and that made me nearly laugh.
But was Elizabeth my mother, by the way?

The same night she literally stole Rebekah's room. But it wasn't the only thing she stole. She made my father's house hers. She was the new undisputed queen of New Orleans.

That night I knocked at her door and she invited me in.

-Who are you, honey?- she asked

-Ar-Are you real?-

-Are you blind or something?- she cocked her eyebrows and asked again -Who are you?-

-My name is Katerine Mikaelson-

-You're lying-

-No, I'm not!-

-The Mikaelsons are six siblings, and you look too sweet to be a Mikaelson-

-I'm not their sister- I exclaimed

-So who are you-

-I am Niklaus Mikaelson's daughter-

-Dear God, are you-

I stopped her saying -I'm your daughter, I'm Abby-

She ran straight to me to hug me with a warm and soft embrace. Nobody hugged me in the last months, so it seemed a little strange. She pulled me back and said -No, it can be, you died the same day you were born. Niklaus tol-

-He lied! I'm not dead, I'm here... Please trust me, mum-

-I...- she whispered and when she felt her cheeks wet she continued -hate Niklaus-

Kate put a hand on her mother's one -I understand you. You feel betrayed-

-Yes- she confirmed

-I feel you. Fiona lied to me- she said with a sour tone when she pronounced Fiona's name -Niklaus lied to me. Everyone did-

Elizabeth made her way to the kitchen where the Mikaelson were trying to figure out what had just happened

-Cheers, let's celebrate- she exclaimed pouring herself a glass of wine. Niklaus looked at her like he was ready to kill her again and again. She answered his gaze with another one, angrier -where's your wife?-

-You think it's funny? You think it's even normal? You're just a crazy bitch!- he yelled

-Dear, you faked an assault from your aunt, turned me into a vampire and closed me in a coffin for 18 years. Who's the crazy bitch now?- then she turned her gaze to Rebekah, who was trying to take a knife. She walked toward her and put a finger under her chin -honey, all of your attempts are useless- then she stole the long blade from her hand and shoved it in her trachea.

All the siblings gasped as they saw the cruel scene.

-Get used to it. New Orleans is mine.-
