Kate P.O.V

I went to the Bayou to visit Jackson, he said he had an important thing to tell me, which I didn't know if it was good or not.
When I arrived I met Hayley, she was sat on the little wharf near her house, she looked like she was depressed or something. I came near her and touched her shoulder, when she turn she she murmured -hi-

-Hi, Hayley, what's going on?-

-I told Jackson to bring you here because we have to talk-

-About what?- I asked

When she was near telling me what was going on Jackson interrupted us. He looked like sad too. There weren't any good news -Kate-

-Hey, love, why are you sad?- I said touching his cheek. But he took my hand and pushed it back.

-Kate, it's not easy what I want to tell you?-

Oh no...

-I have to marry Hayley-

My heart broke.

-We have to unify our packs in case another vampire attack happens, and the only way to do that is... Marry her-

-But it's just for unifying your pack, right?- he didn't answer -right?!- I insisted

Another heartbreak

I was looking for my car in the middle of the woods, and when I found it I made my best to drive like a normal person, and not like a high one who just got her heart broken. In my head the voices kept saying I hate you, I hate you, I fucking hate you and when I couldn't take it anymore I stopped driving and threw myself on the cold ground of November. I was in the middle of no where. No service, no mental stability and in the middle of a mental breakdown.
But when I thought I wouldn't stop crying I heard my phone ringing, it was Lorenzo. I didn't know what to do, I wanted to hung up in a first place but then I realized that he was he only one who could help me with a such good pain

-Hey- I said trying to make my tears stop falling -why you called?-

-Kate, what happened?-

-Jackson and I broke up?-

-Where are you? I'm coming-

-I don't know, I-I think I'm near the Bayou St. John, I tried to go away from here but-but-

-Hold on just a minute, I'm coming. Stay there, don't move-

Time Lapse

When I thought I would stay there for the whole night I saw Lorenzo's car. He went out and came near me. He sat on my side and hugged my tightly -I'm sorry- he muttered -you deserve someone better-

I didn't answer, just closed my eyes and put my head on his strong shoulder -I don't want my emotions-

-You have to keep them, love. Being emotionless is not a good thing-

-I'm tired of crying for someone-

-I'm not a wizard- he said rubbing his hand on my back

-You're just a vampire, right?-

He turn his face toward me and said shook -How do you know?-

-You said you're one of my mother's friends, right?- he nodded -she's 135 years old- I smiled

-Oh, fuck- he smiled -you're not scared now, right?-

-Why I should be scared?-

-I'm glad you don't mind- he smiled

I turned myself to look at Lorenzo -Enzo-

-Tell me everything you want, love-

-Make me forget-

-Kate you sure about that?-

-Yes-

He nodded and put his big hand on my temples and whispered -you don't remember what happened today, we just went out for a walk because you had to tell me that you don't have feelings for Jackson" Hope you'll forgive me for that he thought -and that you don't have feelings at all-

I shook my head Enzo told me -How are you feeling, love?-

I didn't answered him, I just got up and got in his car, making nodding to Enzo to come inside the car. He obeyed and drive me home. We didn't talk for the whole journey
