Chapter 30

Elizabeth

We were holding our hands in a circle, the grimoire of Esther was supported by a white oak pedestal.
I read the spell:

Großer Odin, Vater aller unserer Götter, bitte gib mir eine erbärmliche Hexe von der Erde, die Macht und die Herrlichkeit. Ich bitte dich, Scáthach, Mutter aller Hexen, wieder zum Leben zu erwecken.

I read that twice, three times but the moon was still of a brilliant silver. I was upset. I did everything I could, but it wasn't enough.

I tried for the last time, but this time in French, maybe it was just the supernatural mana of New Orleans

When all my hope was gone I turned my gaze to the sky and noticed that the moon was coloring itself of a dark blood red.

The spell was done, within the astonishment of Hayley and the satisfaction of Elijah.
All the gravestone in the cemetery turned blood red, a pentagram appeared from apparently nowhere.

-The blood moon- I said -It's done, Scáthach has been resurrected-

-Where is she now?- Hayley asked

-I don't know, she must be here in a week-

-We can't wait that long- Elijah muttered

-You can- I said bitterly. Elijah was upset, he thought Scáthach would appear from nowhere and say hey, I'm here you motherfuckers, what you need?
But I didn't work like that. She should had shown up in a week... A week, that was the length of my remaining life -At least we tried-

Klaus were wandering around in the hospital with Papa Tunde's white knife in his hand. He was roaming very slowly, looking for Rebekah in every single shitty corridor -REBEKAH!- he yelled -COME HERE, I WON'T HURT YOU I PROMISE!-

Then he punched a wall with all his anger, destroying it -I SAID COME HERE-

Rebekah twitched herself under the old and filth matress where she was hid in. She know she fucked up, she knew she got Klaus very pissed off, she even knew that she was going to die.
When she heard Klaus coming near her she took a piece of broken glass from the floor, she knew that it would be useless, because, let's face it, Klaus is a hell of an original vampire, a piece of glass wouldn't stop him for sure

-REBEKAH- he yelled -Where the bloody hell are you? You know I like hunting, but let make this whole thing easier- he said kicking every single object he had next to him, tables, wheelchairs and even stretchers.

But when she thought Klaus was finally gone she had another vision of the hospital. This time in the vision there was her making out with Marcel after she killed Genevieve and Celeste under fake aspect. She yelled, catching the attention of Klaus.

He didn't wait another second to get the matress upside down and catching Rebekah from her throat -I got you, lovely one- he said sarcastically.
She tried to defend herself by breaking the piece of glass onto his cheek, but it hasn't any effect, so he brought her in the basement, then he threw her on the dusty floor

-I told you I like hunting-

-Do whatever you want, I'm here- Rebekah said getting herself up and opening her arms -Do me what Mikael wanted to do-

-I am not Mikael!- he shouted
