I hold my breath for a few seconds as I watch the door open slightly then my dog, Justin comes out. I laugh then smile slightly.

"Whew, that was so close," I say a little too loudly.

" I still don't know why you didn't tell your parents about us," Johnathan says.

"You didn't either so what are you talking about," I say lightly punching his shoulder. "Well I should get going." I say. "Bye."

Johnathan then turns around and walks away with a smirk on his face.

I walk up the steps to my house and sit on the porch swing where Justin is already seated.

"Hey boy, did you miss me?" I say with a playful sound in my voice. Justin barks and nods with his head. I soon hear footsteps coming from inside getting closer.

"Hey honey, how was school today?" my mom asks.

"It was the normal usual day," I state. I then hear another pair of footsteps and my dad comes up next to my mom.

"Why so late, honey?" my dad asks.

"My legs were tired so I stopped by the park," I lie.

"Oh, okay," my dad says as he turns around to start watching the playoffs.

"C'mon, let me help you with backpack," my mom offers. We walk inside the house and I notice something different.

If you guys don't mind I would like it if you comment on all the different parts. Thanks.
