I am the only person left in the hallway because I took so long talking to Owen. I hurry to grab my books and sit down a millisecond before the bell rings.
"Whew."
My history teacher, Ms. Anna, my favorite teacher sits at her desk.
"Okay, everyone. I have decided to give you guys a reading assignment today. You just have to read the first and second chapters of Percy Jackson and write a brief summary of the two chapters.
It started out pretty funny....
I didn't want to be a half-blood.
If you're reading this because you think you might be one my advice is: close this book right now. Believe whatever lie your parents told you at birth, and try to live a normal life.
I suddenly became so engrossed with the book that I lost track of time and realized I was on chapter 6 and there was only 2 minutes class left. Suddenly, Ms. Anna was right beside me.
"Ms. Jennivieve, is there a reason why you haven't started? You can do that in detention tomorrow."
Then she whispered in my ear, "You can borrow my book and read when you are done."
That's why she's my favorite teacher.
