Chapter 7

3 more days.

I sat quitely on Lydia's bed as she rambled on about how great the sex with Aiden was. I wanted to vomit, but that wasn't new for me anymore.

"Allison. Allison. Earth to Allison." Lydia said, waving her hand infront of my face,

"What?" I asked, biting my nail. "What's the matter with you? You've been acting weirdly for a few days now and quite frankly it is a bit of a downer.." She said, staring at me, arms folded. Oh Lydia, if only you knew, I thought to myself.

"I'm fine, honestly." I didn't want to talk about anything. I didn't want to talk about mine and Scott's sex life and I didn't want to talk about how cute Aiden was. I didn't want to talk to anyone.

"You better be. So, I was totally thinking to myself, 'Hey, Lydia, why don't you buy that green dress!' but I saw this hotter one," She announced, shoving the fluorescent pink dress in my face. I laughed, looking the dress up and down, "Does this ven cover your ass?" I asked, still giggling.

"No, but that's the point!" She said, grinning. "It's for Aiden. Because he's permanently back now, I thought I'd give him a little... Surprise." She said, winking at me. I laughed again. "Sounds great," I said. I turned up the music to drown out the sex talk. Lydia started singing along and within seconds we were both shouting along to the lyrics of My Body by Young The Giant. "My body tells me noooo!", "But I won't quit," "Cause I want more!" "Cause I want more!" we sing until we're both incapable of speech due to the amount of laughing. "Hahaha," Lydia laughed, lying her head on my lap. She stopped laughing for a second and stared up at me. "Have your boobs gotten bigger?" She asked, giggling. I looked down at my chest

"Holy shit.." I said,laughing a little. "God.." I said, "They have grown.." I said, still shocked

We spent the rest of the night eating choccolate (the only thing I could keep down lately) and talking about everything. Lydia was my person. She knew how to make me happy, and I was glad I always had that one person I could rely on.

My phone started ringing. It was Scott. "Gimme a sec," I said to Lydia, shushing her. "Scott?" I asked down the phone. "Hey Allison, don't worry it's nothing urgent. I just wanted to check up on you, see how you were feeling." He replied. I could hear the concern in his voice. I looked down at my ring and kissed it. "I love you and I miss you and I don't want you to worry about me, okay? Just a little down, I'll be fine." I could hear his smile as he spoke, "I love you too. Call me if you need anything, oh yeah and can you tell Lydia that the history pop quiz was cancelled? Thanks, just call me if you need me. I love you too."

I smiled and made a kissing sound down the phone before hanging up and informing Lydia about her cancelled pop quiz.
