It was lunch and everyone looked really happy.
Scott had his arm around my waist whiles his hand held mine. My arm protected my stomach, as usual.
But Stiles and Lydia both looked really happy too.
I got out my notebook and wrote "are they a thing now?"
I hid it under the table so that only Scott could see it.
He took the pen from me and wrote underneath "well stiles turned up in the middle of mine and lydia's spanish class, asked if he could 'borrow' lydia then they both left. she didn't come back"
I held in a laugh.
Stiles and Lydia were finally together
But it looked like they were keeping it a secret (and failing)
But Scott and I played along as if we didn't know, just to please them.
I turn to Scott and ask "Has Isaac spoken to you yet?" He shakes his head no and I bite my lip
"I don't get why he's angry at you. You haven't done anything wrong. Neither have I, for that matter." Scott replied. "Don't worry about him. If he's gonna be an ass, let him. As long as were happy, it makes no difference." Scott added, smiling.
I wasn't convinced.
"But Scott, Isaac isn't happy. And it's my fault. I need to find out what I've done wrong so I can try to fix things.." I say.
"Okay, if you feel this bad about it, let me talk to him."
Scott replies. He won't take his eyes off of me.
"Okay. Thanks." I say
I quickly kiss him and lie into him, listening to his heartbeat.
SCOTT'S POV
Me and Allison spent last period together before her and Lydia left for Lydia's house and Stiles left for his, texting and grinning at the same time. Probably Lydia.
I got on my bike and rode home,
The wind felt great on my face.
I was like a dog sticking his head out of a window- oh wait
I laughed to myself as I pulled into t driveway.
I unlocked the door and walked inside. Mom wasn't home yet.
I went up to Isaac's room and knocked on the door;
No reply.
I tried again;
No reply.
I let myself in. I saw Isaac sitting in his chair, playing a game on his Xbox. He had earphones on.
He was playing Call Of Duty: Ghosts.
I was tempted to pull up a seat and join in, but I had to speak to him.
Allison was right, Isaac was pissed, and it was our fault. Even if we didn't do anythig wrong. Well, not on purpose anyways.
Isaac sees me and gives a quick nod of his head. I mine the words "pause it" and make a weird hand gesture to resemble 'pausing'
He pauses the game and turns to face me, taking his earphones out.
"What is it, Scott?" He asks, barely any emotion in his voice.
Here goes nothing
"I want to know why you're mad at me and Allison, she's pretty bummed out and worried about you, and bro, so am I, but-" he stops me. He stands up and slowly makes his way towards me,
"She's, bummed out?"
He spat.
"You know what, Scott? I'm bummed out too. You know why? Because I freaking love Allison. You hear me? I love her. But then you had to go and get her knocked up, didn't you!" He growls.
I felt shocked and angry.
But I guess slightly upset too.
More anger, though.
I stood my ground and faced up to him.
"Earth to Isaac, me and Allison have been dating for around three years now. We want this, and we want you to be happy too. All Allison ever does is worry because she's scared you may never speak to her again. Right now, I couldn't give a rat's ass if you ever spoke to me again, but I swear to god if you speak badly about my girlfriend, or my baby, I will end you." I say.
Isaac pushes me up agains the wall, his claws shooting from his finger tips, cutting into my chest. "You asshole! You absolute asshole!" Isaac shouts, cutting into me deeper. I push him off of me, my own claws shooting out of my hands.
I jump for him and cut down his arm. We were both bleeding. He punches me and sends me flying. I couldn't see in one eye. It was a red blur. Must have wen blood
I didn't care
I was busy trying to defend myself.
I jump forward and punch him in the chest. He goes flying and bounces off the wall. He growls as I keep a foot on his chest. "Stay down." My voice is deeper than usual. After a few minutes, once everything is calmer, I lift my foot from Isaac's chest and he walks into his room and begins to shove his stuff into a black duffel bag.
"Tell Melissa I said thanks for treating me like one of her own." He says, pushing literally everything into this one duffel bag
Within minutes the room is completely empty. He slings the bag across his bag and shoves past me, slamming the door on his way out.
I slump against the wall and slide down it.
The wounds still hurt.
I usually heal faster than this, but the cuts were really deep.
Goddamnit, Isaac.
I rummage through my pocket and update Allison on what happened. She immediately starts panicking, "I'm fine.." I say, I choke the words out.
Somehow, fighting with wolves always hurt more.
It's like we have something venemous to ourselves in our claws and teeth. "Just a little tired.." I say, coughing slightly. "Scott I'm coming over. Stay exactly where you are."
She says.
I can here her telling Lydia what happened and that she has to go. Lydia offers to help but Allison declines.
"Hey, there is some good news to this, though.." I say down the phone.
"And what's that?" Allison asks, sounding even more worried.
"You can have your own room at my house now!" I say, trying to soud funny. She gives me a pity laugh before saying "I'll be ten minutes." And quickly putting the phone down.
I smile to myself.
God, I have a great girlfriend.
