You were walking down the sidewalk with your hands in your pockets, listening to a song from your favourite artist and bobbing your head along with the music.

You weren't really paying attention to your surroundings, until you heard some loud noise that came from nearby.

Looking up from the pavement, you saw a woman running towards you, looking like she just came out of a horror movie with her ripped dress, pale skin and long black hair.

There were two men running behind the woman, who you couldn't see so well because they were too far away. However, you did notice that one was taller than the other.

As they were running down the street like crazy people, you saw that the men were yelling something at you, but you couldn't hear it with your earbuds on.

You pulled your earbuds out of your ears and finally heard them yelling. "Stop her! Stop that woman!"

The woman was a few feet away from you , so you didn't have much time to think. Without hesitating about it, you swung your right leg in the direction of the woman and managed to kick her face.

The woman fell on the pavement, landing on her back. The woman had her eyes closed and blood was running down her nose.

You noticed a moment later that you had, in fact, managed to kick her so hard that she was now unconscious.

"Crap." You cursed with a worried expression, stepped forward and slightly touched her with your left leg. "Uhmm, are you okay?"

The men finally reached you and immediately hunched over to take a deep breath, probably because they were exhausted from running so much.

The smaller one kneeled on the left side of the woman and took her pulse while looking at his watch.

The man saw your concerned face and smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry, she'll survive. It's only a bloody nose."

You breathed out in relief and put a hand on your chest. "Thank god, i thought i had broken her bone or something."

"Unfortunately, she'll be fine." The taller one frowned and then smirked at you. "Nice kick by the way."

"Thanks." You smiled back as you watched the smaller one pull out his phone.

As he made a phone call to god knows who, you noticed that your foot, the one that kicked the woman in her face, hurt whenever you put pressure on it.
