Scarlet

The following Sunday morning had come around rather quickly and today I was leaving with the boys for the Bahamas. I managed to get off work for the week and a half and I was excited to get away for a bit. It had been a very long time since I was on holiday, so I was rather excited for this. I didn't let Niall pay for me but he didn't allow me to pay either so we had agreed that I would pay for half of my share and I would pick him up for the airport today. Our flight was for 6pm and it was currently 11am. I had woken up early so that I wouldn't have the travel rush. We would be flying for a solid 8-10 hours and I knew that the earlier I woke up, the more I would sleep on the flight.
This was new to me. Wake up at 8am on a Sunday morning, only to sit in bed because I realised how much I truly hated waking up early. After much procrastination on social media, I finally pushed myself out of bed and headed to the bathroom where I took a much needed shower. I proceeded to change into a pair of shorts and an oversized t-shirt, as I needed to be comfortable as I packed away the few odds and ends.

I made myself a cup of coffee and some waffles and ate as I watched some episodes of Cake Boss. And that's why at 11:17am, I am still sat in front of the tv, an hour and a half later.

My phone buzzed on the couch next to me.

Niall James: We will be ready by 2. Wes is in a bit of a mood, but I hope it disappears later. See you soon. xx

Niall, Wesley and myself were travelling to the airport together, where we would meet Harry and Louis, who travelled together and Liam and his fiancée, Sophia with their little Baby Payno. Lottie and Tommy with Gemma and Mike were tagging along too and would meet us at the airport too. Everyone was in their respective couples and then there was me. Yay for being single. Note my sarcasm.

Oh and Niall. He was single too. And the tiny humans.

I sent a quick reply before I travelled to the kitchen to wash up my dishes and clear out any of the food from my fridge that would go bad in the time I wouldn't be home.

I sorted out the living room and cleaned up where it needed to be cleaned before I ventured back to my room.

I changed into the clothes that would be easier to travel in: sweats and a hoodie. I braided my hair and pushed my glasses further onto the bridge of my nose.

I zipped up my main luggage bag and set it near my door.

I then made sure my contacts casing and solution was in my carry-on bag along with my charger for my phone and laptop. I set my laptop bag, containing my laptop and camera at the door. Along with my carry-on.
I don't have that many bags do I? Nope. Normal.

Once I had everything in order it was 12:24. I should be going because I needed to drive to Niall's and still drive to the airport. It was on route but it still needed extra time in the schedule. And I was pretty excited. I woke up way too early, didn't I? Oh well.

I decided to at least pack my bags into my car and so I did. I grabbed my keys and headed downstairs to the parking lot and after two trips, my car was successfully packed.

I headed back up to my apartment, slipped on my white sneakers, rechecked everything. Grabbed my carry on bag, which I had slipped in a few snacks and extra odd ends that I found a need for.
