It was the long awaited day- the first day of school. I woke up a couple hours before school started. Unlike Daichi, who was still asleep and wasn't going to wake up anytime soon.

I made breakfast as I usually did. Living without my family wasn't very difficult for me. After all, I was practically looking after Daichi; that idiot can't do anything. I cooked simple things to perfection. They were made by me after all. As I placed the plates on the table, I realized that Daichi was still asleep. That loser. I figured that if he didn't come to the first day of school, I would have to help him catch up, so I had to wake him up.

I walked into his room with an annoyed look. "Wake up, loser." I said as I threw his clothes at him. He let out a groan and buried himself deeper in bed. Ugh, why did I agree to this?

"I'm leaving without you." I closed the door to his room only to have it slammed back open. More importantly in my face. I stopped it right before it hit me.

A nervous smile made it's way to Daichi's face. "Oops."

"I'm leaving." I deadpanned.

"Wait up, Michi!" I heard him stumble upon many things as he made his way to the kitchen. I drank the last of my tomato juice as he ran into the kitchen with his backpack in hand. His hair was messy and he still had some drool on his face. Those were the the least of his problems.

I walked out and Daichi followed close behind me. "I didn't have any breakfast!" He whined.

"Your fly is down." I stated nonchalantly.

"What!?" He turned around rapidly and zipped up his pants.

I drove us to school in my car. It was nothing special to me, but Daichi was very fond of it. We drove by a small ramen shop and Daichi complained about how hungry he was. I told him we were already late enough, so I would take him after school.

We arrived with five minutes to spare. I was kind of hoping to get out of the first day introductions anyways.

"This is it!" He exclaimed as he took in the scene. I stepped out of the car to join Daichi.

"How lame." I said as I kept walking.

"Oh, you know you love it." He said as he held the door open.

I stepped into the world of assholes and outcasts. "Keep thinking that, loser."

"The only loser here is whoever ends up being your partner." I rolled my eyes at Daichi. "Wait, I need to go pee!" He ran into the bathroom before I could stop him. I would have just left, but he had my schedule on him. I let out a sigh as I waited outside the men's bathroom.

"You know that's the men's bathroom, right?" Asked a boy with bold fang tattoos on his cheeks.

"I'm waiting for someone." A smirk played on his lips as he lead next to me.

"If you come with me, I won't keep you waiting." He said with a wink.

"Kiba, lay off the girl. You're scaring her." A scoff escaped my lips as I heard the blonde speak.

"What idiots." I mumbled before moving to the other side of the hallway. I looked over to see the fang boy with his mouth agape. A slight smirk made its way to my face.

"Hey! No one calls me an idiot!" He exclaimed as he walked over to me. He got up close to my face as he tried to taunt me. I looked away with an indifferent look as he yelled numerous things in my face. I grimaced as his spit landed on my cheek. My eyes trailed the blonde behind him trying to stop him. My eye twitched in annoyance. I was about to punch his across the face when Daichi came up to him and did it for me.
