Hey, I lied. I kind of didn't update yesterday. Sorry. But I am Today!!! Let's just get to the story, I'll shut up...

When we get ready for bed I lay there with my eyes closed for an hour before giving up and going out of the room not to disrupt Laura. I eventually make my way to the library and look through most of the books before finding the section I hoped for. I pick two books... Silver Hybrids, and The Night Of A Hybrid's Birth Day.

Here we go...

(Arora's POV)

As I read I am worried and excited at the same time. I always wanted powers... But drinking blood for the rest of my life, which is a LONG time... wasn't something I ever wished for. What the books say is any day now we will begin to loose our appetite for human food, and by the time our birthday comes we will be starved. The books also describe a physical difference after your transformation... it says you will become more toned and hour glass shaped, also your hair will lighten and eyes will darken a shade instead of having a red tint like a normal hybrid. Also apparently we will get more pale... as if I am not already clammy. UGH!!!

"I think you'll look great..." Kaden says from behind me.

I turn around in my chair and see him sitting on the ground leant against a bookshelf like he's been there a while...

"When did you get in here?" I ask laying the books on the coffee table.

"About two hours ago... I figured I would listen to you reading it in your mind instead of being clueless on your birthday." He says showing interest in my transition.

"What was your transition like?" I ask him because it didn't mention a normal hybrids actions.

"The same as yours will be except our parents didn't know so we slaughtered a village before we were full. You two will definitely be locked up for a while..." He says looking almost sad.

"Locked up?" I ask and he nods and looks back into my eyes.

"In the cells, it will keep you and all of the humans safe." He explains and I nod but still have questions.

"Ask away." He says and I smile.

"How long will we be there?" I ask and he shrugs his shoulders.

"For as long as it takes for your fangs to stay away in the presence of blood. Or at least when you smell it." HE explains.

"And when will we be taught to use our powers?" I ask and he shrugs once again.

"If you have common powers it will begin the day you are freed. If they aren't something locally taught maybe a few days so we can bring in a specialist." He adds.

Are you by any chance hungry?" He asks.

My stomach answers for me and I blush.

"Let's go, they are waiting with waffles, pancakes, and fruit in the kitchen." HE says and I smile and hop up from the arm chair.

When we get to the dinning room I    see Derek and Laura sitting at the table laughing.

"What's funny?" I ask flopping into the seat by L.

"Nothing." She says blushing.

"They were just flirting with each other, more of a embarrassed giggle then a laugh." Kaden says and his brother looks at him with a hint of anger.

"What? I had to tell her... She is my mate." He says and Derek rolls his eyes.

"So... What are we wearing today?" Laura asks me.
