So, since I posted such a short chapter, I figured that it was only fair to write another one so there will be two updates in just a few days. I know the story is going quite quickly, and at the end of the chapter I will explain why, I promise it is good, not bad.
I hope you enjoy the chapter, and read the bottom authors note.
(Arora's POV)
As I wake up I listen to the sounds coming from the house, and hear soft snores, coming from our daughter. I smile and yawn, stretching my arms.
"Are you okay?" Derek asks, startling me.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" I ask and he looks down.
"Because of everything that happened yesterday. I just figured you might want to talk about it." He says and I nod, and look out of the window beside of the bed.
"Alorah gave me a emotion neutralizer, so during everything I wasn't scared. But when it wore off I was happy because she was okay, I didn't have time to feel anything else." I explain and he nods.
"I am sorry for making you leave while it all happened." I say and he shakes his head.
"I knew when it started I would just make things harder, you definitely made the right call." he says and packs my lips.
"We need to name her Derek, we have never even talked about it." I say and he sighs.
"That is because I have no ideas for girl names, our first son can be Xavier but you should name our daughter." He explains and I smile.
"I have always liked the name Talia, but Rosalie Hope Conner suits her better." I say and he smiles a cheeky and huge smile.
"I agree, that name is beautiful." he says and I nod, and stand up out of bed.
"I am going to check on her. I will be right back." I say but he gets up too.
"I am coming too." He says and we walk across the hall into her nursery.
When we look at her she flutters her eyes open and looks at us.
"Good morning Rosalie Hope." I whisper picking her up.
She holds Derek's finger as I smooth her fine black hair down, and she looks at him with happy eyes.
"Morning Rosie." he says, and I smile and hand her to him gently.
"I am going to get her an outfit and a diaper." I say quietly and he nods, not looking away from her.
I walk into her closet and pick a simple onesie, with buttons that go between her legs. I also grab a pair of tiny pink socks, and a preemie diaper.
When I walk back into the room Derek lays her on the dressing table and kisses my cheek.
"I am going to get her a bottle ready." he says and I nod.
"Don't forget to put a few drops of blood." I say and he nods and walks out of the room.
After changing her disgusting diaper, I dress her and pick her back up.
I slowly walk down the hall and down the steps, making sure to hold the rail, and go slowly so I have no chance of falling.
When I walk into the kitchen I see Derek checking the temperature of the bottle with pink colored milk, and place her in his arms.
"I need to go get dressed, and pack to go to the cabin. We need to be there soon." I say and he nods, placing the nub of the bottle in her mouth slowly.
Once I get ready and pack I walk into the living room to see Derek and Rosie watching Dora on the television.
"You know she isn't really old enough to get anything from that right?" I ask with a chuckle.
"Maybe she will learn Spanish." he says and I laugh.
I place the bags beside of the door, and walk back upstairs to get her car seat and a thick blanket for the trip.
"You ready?" I ask and he nods.
He hands her to me, and takes the bags to the car as I strap her in the car seat, and wrap her up cozily with the warm blanket. When Derek pulls up in front of the door I walk outside and quickly get her in the car and strapped in so she doesn't get cold.
"You know she is yet to cry." I say as I get in the front passenger seat.
"I know, she is perfect." He says and I nod, glancing back at her slowly drifting off to sleep again.
"I can't believe she doesn't have any health issues, being born too soon, but Alorah said she was perfectly healthy." I say and he nods.
"She is the most powerful hybrid in the world, so if she did it probably healed to quickly to notice." he say, reminding me our perfect angel is as much supernatural as us.
"I can't wrap my brain around her not being a human, even though we are both hybrid, I feel like she isn't." I say and he nods.
"Yeah, but smell the air. She definitely is." he comments and I nod.
I can smell the power that radiates from her. More than even my and Laura's power.
As we pull up to the cabin Laura runs out to meet her Niece, and I laugh when she falls down the steps from excitement.

So... did you like it? I know the last four or so chapters have been pretty crap, but that is because I have a surprise.
I have been contemplating how this story will end, but every time I think about it i dread the book ending. So I decided to make another book in this series called Ms. Alpha Hybrid.
It will be the story of Arora's daughter's life. If I say anymore it will tell you how this all ends. I will be editing this book before I start the other one, so it may be a few months before I publish the first chapter for it.
If you are interested in a second book let me know, and remember to come back soon for the next chapter or update. Have a great day!
