Hey, I am home! I am so sorry that I haven't updated... I have been in my hometown because of some family issues. There wasn't any Wi-Fi, and I didn't have signal on my phone so I couldn't hotspot. I will update a few times this week and make up for it. Thanks for supporting my book. Enjoy chapter twenty!
(Arora's POV)
"The painting is beautiful Arora." she says and I smile.
"That is the two children I saw in my visions. I truly believe they will be fine." I say and she hugs me.
"Thanks for everything. I am truly sorry how I treated you, I was just..." she says and I smile.
"Hormonal." I finish and she nods.
Let's go back and see what the boys are doing." I say and she grabs the painting, obviously wanting to show Derek.
"Derek look!" she says holding the painting out to him.
"Is that them?" he asks looking at me.
"That is who I saw in my visions, I believe so." I state and he smiles slightly.
"I didn't know you could paint." he says and I nod.
"It has always been my best talent." I explain and Kaden nods.
"She paints constantly. We have her work strewn throughout the castle. Some of all for of us. The girls, just Derek and I. Even one of the rose that blooms in the garden." he tells them.
"I have a lot of spare time." I explain to Laura.
"I figured. Especially since these two work so much." she says throwing a scowl at Derek.
"Hey, the kingdom needs its leaders." they say in sync.
"Sometimes." Laura and I say at the same time.
"Would you two like to stay for dinner? Mom and dad will not be back for a few days." Derek asks and I shrug and look at Kaden.
"We would love to." he says and I smile.
It seems weird to stay for dinner when all that will be served is blood, but just because we don't eat food doesn't mean we cant have a meal together.
"You know... I got to eat while in the asylum." I tell Laura and she smiles.
"Was it great? Did it taste awesome?" she asks and I shake my head.
"Nope. Bland." I say and she frowns.
"Why can't I eat?" she asks and I laugh.
"The asylum makes you human again. I guess that means food for us." I explain and Derek nods.
"It isn't healthy Laura. We aren't made to eat food anymore. It does nothing good to us." He explains to her and she frowns.
"It makes my taste buds happy." he says and I laugh.
"Not really. It doesn't taste good anymore, more like cardboard. Blood is definitely better." i say and she nods.
"I guess." she says and her huge stomach growls.
"Do we have any more O negative left?" she asks Derek and he nods, and they walk into the kitchen.
"You crave different blood types when you're pregnant. Evidently the rarest is hers." Kaden explains with a laugh.
"I hope I don't crave anything with a b in it." I say and he looks at me confused.
"I want a baby Kaden." I say and his eyes widen.
"You haven't ever told me before." he says and I look down.
"You always work, and when you aren't we are on dates or at parties. we never have time to spend alone together. I have been thinking lately... I would like to have children soon." I say and he nods.
I hear them coming back towards the living room and he leans into my ear.
"We can fix that later." he whispers in a husky voice, making shivers run through me.
You would think since I have lived with him for a while that I wouldn't react like that, but every time we are together it is just a good as the first time.
"That is a lot of blood." Kaden says looking at the quart jar of blood my sister is drinking from.
"I am eating for three." she says and drinks some more.
"Will you be able to have supper?" I ask her and she nods.
"Yeah, this isn't anything compared to what she drinks in a day." Derek explains and I cough, surprised.
"Shall we watch a movie?" Laura asks and Kaden and I nod.
"Go put in a movie." she commands Derek, and he simply nods.
We watch the twilight series, laughing at how inaccurate they make us all look.
--- After dinner. ---
"I have had a good time today Laura." i say hugging my sister.
"Me too, we should go to lunch soon." she says and I nod.
"Call if you go into labor, or anything out of normal happens." I say and she nods.
"I will call if we get news from Alorah." Kaden tells them.
"Have a good night." we say and leave the cabin.
"That was nice." I say and he nods.
"Yeah, I really like spending time with our siblings. Now that we all get along." he says and I smile.
"Yeah, I hated being separated from Laura." I say and he smiles.
"As old as Derek and I are we have had to do this more than once." he explains and I gesture for him to continue as we walk.
"Once he had to go to the fire kingdom for some business and stayed for a few years. I had to attend the century competition with my father, sending us to the capitol for a year. Many different circumstances." he explains.
"Sounds awful." I say and he chuckles.
"You have to learn to live without your sister. One day they will move into the mountains, while we take care of the kingdom from the castle. We could go years without talking." he says making me sad.
"I guess, but I would never do that while our children are young. They need to know their family." I explain and he nods.
"Yes, I agree. It will be once they are teens. Derek and Laura need to be in the mountains, if royals don't keep an eye on them another kingdom can claim them." he says and I nod.
"I know. Just not for a while." I say and he nods, opening the castle door for me.
"I think I will paint for a while. Maybe a portrait of you... naked." I say and his eyes widen.
"Whatever you want, but it doesn't leave our bedroom." he says and I laugh.
"I will paint a teacup over your dick." I say and he looks confused.
"I am definitely larger than a teacup." he replies.
"It has been so long since we fooled around... I don't remember." I say knowing it was only a few days ago.
"Well then I will jog your memory." he says whisking me to the bedroom with his speed.
Thanks for reading. I hope you like the short chapter... Have a nice day and come back soon.
