Hey, I haven't updated for a while. Though my excuse isn't valid, I am supposed to be a Junior in high school, but I am graduating at the end of this school year, so I have more school work now than hours in a day. I will update when I can, but don't expect more than a two updates a week.
Enjoy chapter twenty one and don't hate me.
(Arora's POV)
As i wake up I smile, remembering the events of last night.
"Morning beautiful." Kaden says from beside of me.
"Morning. How did you sleep?" I ask him and he miles.
"Better than I have in years. You wore me out." he says and I blush.
"Don't be ashamed, sometimes the girl is the more horny one." he says and I laugh.
"Change topics before I explode from awkwardness." I say sitting up.
"Okay. While you were asleep I got a letter from one of my men high in the mountain. I need to go there, and I will be gone for a few days." He says and I frown.
"I guess that is fine, I will stay with Laura and Derek." I say and he shakes his head.
"No, the kingdom needs a leader, and it is about time for you to start doing your duties as the queen." he says poking my side.
"Queen... I always forget that." I say and he kisses my cheek.
"When you are done getting ready wake me up, sleep is something I need before traveling up the cliffs." he says and I nod, and make my way to the bathroom.
Once I have showered and put my wet hair into a bun I walk into the closet in my underwear to pick an outfit.
Since I am feeling nice I decide to wear something that matches my mood.
I decide on a casual black dress, a black chocker, and a pair of thick black heels. I put on some mascara and brush my teeth before I wake Kaden up from his nap.
"Take a shower while I get our breakfast ready." I say and he nods sitting up.
"I will be down once I am done." he says and I nod and walk out of the door.
Once I shut it behind me I walk down the hall and a few flights of stairs, before walking into the private kitchen.
I grab two blood bags from the fridge and pour them into a measuring glass and pop them in the microwave. When they are warm I pour two glasses and sit the extra back into the fridge. I sprinkle some cinnamon on both and place Kaden's onto the island, not able to wait any longer for my blood, since we slept in.
When I am done I grab some more from the fridge and pop it in the microwave again as Kaden walks into the kitchen.
"Hungry?" he asks and I nod, feeling my fangs haven't went away yet.
"Yeah, more so than normal." I say and he nods.
"It comes with the territory." he says and I narrow my eyes.
"Pregnancy." he says and my eyes widen.
I place my hands onto my stomach.
"It hasn't been twenty four hours." I say ad he nods.
"Yeah, but it wasn't the first time." he says and I remember about a month ago.
"I have had my suspicions but this confirmed it." he says walking up to me.
He places his large hand on my stomach and kisses my cheek.
"I... this is so great." I say with joyous tears streaming down my face.
"Yeah, it really is." he says with a smile larger than ever before.
