Hey, so I went to the beach with my best friend Kat. Didn't have much fun but it was a good memory none the less. Anyway, onto the story.

Recap...

I think back to the books I read. Silver Hybrids can get powers.

I Sit up and place my back against the wall behind me and close my eyes imagining a small flame sitting on the top of my finger tip, dancing back and forth from the breeze in the cool basement.

I open my eyes and gasp loudly. There is a small flame coming from my finger. I focus on it, trying to make it larger, failing completely. I shake my hand to put it out and sigh. I look up and see Kaden, Derek, and Laura all looking at me paralyzed by amazement.

"Impossible." they all whisper in sync.

"Not exactly." Someone says from the top of the stairs.

All of us snap out eyes to the woman who spoke. She has charcoal black hair, mocha skin, and deep brown eyes. As soon as my eyes meet her I know she is a witch, and a powerful one at that. She has power radiating off her in waves.

"Alorah, why are you here?" Derek asks as Kaden walks over to hug her and Derek does after.

A ping of jealousy hits my heart but I shake it off.

"Darlings... do not be threatened by me... men aren't my type." She explains and I sigh thankfully.

She walks over to my cell and uses magic to instantly unlock the door. I don't dare try and escape, only stay seated with anticipation raking through me.

"Stand. She says pointing at the middle of the room.

I contemplate asking for a reason but comply, not wanting to see the results of refusing.

She slowly walks around me. Agonizingly slow. She looks me up and down multiple times, every now and then raking her arm on my arms or back. She is obviously studying me... but why?

"You dear aren't a silver hybrid." She says and walks out of my cell and into Laura's doing the same to her.

"You are." She tells Laura.

I narrow my eyes in confusion but the boys ask the question for me.

"How? They are twins." They ask in sync.

"Yes, but opposites." She explains confusing me more.

"The sun and moon goddesses created one girl each. Arora from the sun and Laura from the moon. They placed them inside of an unfortunate woman, resulting in the death of her bastardly affair before she found her soul mate. She saved them but they had a hard life, it helped them grow stronger, but scared them for eternity. These girls are the original beings that are the only true and pure supernatural beings in existence." She explains and I just listen too shocked to even blink.

"Laura the Silver Lycanthrope from the moon and Arora the Silver Vampire from the sun." She finishes.

"How do you know this?" We all ask.

"I was the magic source that created them. And I am the witch that will train them." She says and snaps at both Laura and I.

I feel nauseous for a moment and then the hunger goes away.

"But how does Laura consume blood?" Derek asks.

"All questions will be answered with time." She says and smiles at us all.

"I have been summoned. You have been freed from blood lust. I will return." She says and smoke surrounds her.

I cough and when the smoke clears she is gone. I just stand in my cell blinking. Not even trying to escape.

I look over at Laura and see that her overdramatic self has fainted from surprise. I myself feel dizzy and weak, but I have too many questions and adrenaline rushes to faint yet.

I walk into Laura's cell and pick her up, walking past the boys and up the steps into the den. I take her to our room and lay her in her bed making sure to place the cover over her. She gets cold easily. I then walk to the closet, knowing I need a shower and fresh clothing.

As I shower I slowly think of how I have never noticed this and also question my entire reason for being alive.

Another character? Yeah I know there is plenty already, although Alorah will be a BIG part of this book and I had to introduce her eventually. No you aren't going to get a better introduction for Alorah, because she will grow as a character throughout the book.
