Hey, how has your week been? Mine has been pretty chill, other than getting an 86 on an essay, which at least deserved a 90. There weren't any grammar issues, they just said that for a personal essay I shouldn't have said you so much. I said it twice, for an example... anyways, enjoy chapter eighteen.

(Arora's POV)

As I wake up I groan and hold my head...

I flutter my eyes open as my head throbs, causing discomfort.

I look around and notice I am in a practically blank room. there is a small desk with a chair, a table with two chairs, a dresser, a bed, and two doors. I walk up to one and open it, switching the light on.

It has a toilet, mirror, sink, and shower. I sigh and turn off the light, and walk up to the other door, as I pull it open my eyes narrow.

It has a locked cell door over it. Am I in a nut house?

"Hello!" I yell, looking down the hall. there are two other doors in this hall, and both of them open when they hear me.

"Hey, are you new?" a girl with dreads asks me.

"Uh... where the hell am I?" I ask and she sighs.

"Kingdom Ice Magic Asylum." she explains and my eyes widen.

"KADEN! ALORA!" I yell and no one comes.

"Ms. Alorah doesn't come until the evening." a boy says from the other door.

"Do you happen to know what time it is?" I ask and he shakes his head.

"Not very late. close to lunch maybe." he says and I look down to my feet.

The last thing I remember is doing the preservation spell on the babies, and then Alorah telling me to go to sleep.

felt so awake, so energized. She had to have put me to sleep there isn't any way I would have came here willingly.

I walk over to my window, and gasp when I see how high up we are. I can see the whole kingdom. The castle, the cabin, and the village. I must be in the air. High in the air.

I sit for about an hour staring at the kingdom.

I hear a loud buzz and flinch, looking to my door.

I see a man with white scrubs, rolling a cart with three food trays on it.

I run up to my door and wrap my fingers around the bars.

"Hey, please let me out. I am not supposed to be here... please." I say and he laughs.

"I am prince Kaden's mate! I demand to be released! I command and he just chuckles.

"The prince would never have a mate that is crazy. He would definitely reject you." he says shoving my tray into my hands.

"Have a nice day." he says and walks back down the hall.

"When Kaden gets me out of here I will fucking kill you!" I yell as he walks through the door.

"Are you really one of the prince's mates?" the grill asks eating her food in by her door.

"Yeah, and my sister Laura is the other." I explain and she smiles.

"Cool, I heard she was pregnant with twins." she says and I nod.

"Yeah, I was with her yesterday. I remember everything but how I got here." I explain and the boy laughs.

"Yeah, nobody knows how they got here, and no one knows where people go when they get out." he explains and I sigh.

"I will be let out soon, my mate can't stand to be away from me for long, he gets angry and out of control." I explain and the girl laughs.

"I haven't seen anyone get out in less than a week." she says and I smile sadly.

When we are done the bars to our door's open and we all get to go into a common area, with three other people. It has a few tables, books, couches, and a TV. As well as two windows.

When evening rolls around I hear a few guys saying Alorah will be here soon and I get excited.

I stand n front of the window for a while and then I hear the main door open.

I turn around and smile.

I run up to Alorah and hug her, pulling away with my hands still on her shoulders.

"Alorah, thank god. You really have to get me out of here, before they drug me or something." I say and she nods.

She makes me follow her to a table and we sit across from each other.

"your magic is fluxuating because of the spell, you can leave in the morning." she explains and I sigh.

"Why not now? I am sure I can control it." I say and she shakes her head.

"This is the only place in the kingdom that doesn't allow magic. As soon as you wake up in the morning I will come and take you home." she explains and I reluctantly nod.

"How is Laura? And the twins?" I ask and she looks down.

"They're okay, but my progress trying to figure out how to reverse the spell is minimal, it is extremely hard." she says and I nod.

"I'm sure you can figure it out. You are the smartest person I know." I say and she smiles sadly.

"I have to go do therapy with the others, you can take a book back to your room if you want." she says and I narrow my eyes.

"They can get pretty upset, even aggressive." she says and I nod.

"I will see you in the morning." she says and I hug her.

After I grab a book from the shelf I go into my room and close the solid door, knowing the bars will not close until told to by staff.

I walk over to my bed and drag it in front of a window. When I have it where I want it I sit on the bed in front of the window and read.

Short chapter I know, but that is because this is an update right after another one, I will probably do like two more shorter chapters before Monday. and then start doing a few long chapters a week.
