chapter 2 I got engaged to an idiot

Keith's POV

As we were walking towards breakfast I felt a little bad. He was nice until I lashed out, then he looked sad, then got mad. But he could never actually love me. I mean I am half human. Not another grand alien, human. I feel so ashamed, my father is I know, I never knew my mother. My father saved me from being killed. This is why I don't argue with him and do everything he says, I owe him my life. Suddenly, Lances hair turn brown. I wasn't sure if I should warn him or scream. So I did both. "Lance your hair changed colour," I yelled he flinched. "Thank you caption obvious," he said and rolled his eyes. I can't believe this idiot! I can't believe I got engaged to an idiot! Well I guess I am to blame as well, I mean he wasn't acting like this till I screamed, ERM, told him off for being nice? Yeah I should probably apologize. So I did the logical thing and pinned him against the wall."Keith what-" "Look I'm sorry I snapped at you earlier, but I'm just not used to people being nice simply because they feel like it, I thought you didn't like me immediately after we met so I chose to confirm my suspicions, but then I realized you didnt start acting hostile till I snapped at you so I'm saying sorry," I quickly said. He had a stupid smirk on his face. "OK I forgive you," he said. My Ears perked. "Wait really," I asked. "If you sleep beside me in my bed tonight. To be honest no one likes the couch and the bed is big enough for no contact, that is of course unless you want it," he said flirtatiously(picture above of this exact moment after lance speaks) . "OK as long as you stay on your side of the bed," I said. "Em this may sound really stupid but-" "Most things you say are, but continue," I cut him off. He rolled his eyes. "What side do you want to sleep on," he asked. "I dont care," I said. I unpinned him blushing realizing I still was. "OK so breakfast," I asked. "Breakfast," he confirmed. He hesitantly sort of stuck his elbow out I took his arm. He looked a bit relieved. We got to what I assumed was the breakfast area, everyone was talking and laughing. I slowed down. my ears flattened against my head. "Keith what's wrong," Lance asked. "Nothing," I snapped immediately feeling bad. "Keith you don't have to tell me. And hey, we can get breakfast later. I have some games in my room. Do you like Mario karts," he asked. My ears perked up. "You have Mario karts," I asked trying not to sound as excited as I was. "Yeah but fair warning, you will lose," he said and smirked. "Riiiiiiiight," I said. "Come on let's go," he said rolling his eyes. He practically started dragging me, then we started running. We got in his room and got into our pajamas even though it is morning. Of course he let me use the bathroom to change first. Then I walked out on him changing and slammed the door shut closing my eyes. "You can come out now," Lance said with what sounded like muffled laughter. "You idiot are you laughing?! You are fricking laughing," I exclaimed as I stepped out. He was doubled over his hand over his mouth and eyes closed. I am engaged to an idiot. I face palmed.
