"i'm going out!"
"kim Hara! it's 2AM! where are you going young lady?"
"oh fuck you. since when you care about me? just leave me fucking alone."
Hara closed the door loudly, and sighs heavily as she puts her hands on her leather jacket pocket.
Kim Hara, 20 years old. you can tell she has family problems, but she tries to distract herself with studies and going out with her friends.
Today, she just received her results and she get distinctions for everything, and it was the night that she wanted to party, since she succeeded on passing her exam, without the help of her naggy parents.
Hara made her way to a nearby club, just a few walks and down the streets. she handed out her id card towards the big security guards, and she successfully went in.
Her friends told her that the club sometimes were filled with idols. at that time, Hara didn't care at all. but someone came struck on her mind. Yoo Kihyun.
Kihyun and Hara go way back, back to their trainee days. they were a couple, a happy one, but because of starship's rule, they have to break up. the most heartbreaking is Kihyun was the one who ask to end it.
though the breakup ended nicely, Hara was still heartbroken, till now and soon after Kihyun debuted, Hara decided to leave Starship, because of heartbreak and she loss interest on becoming an idol.
Hara just shakes her head as she walk pass people who were busy grinding each other. She just wanted to sit in a corner and drink.
as Hara was approaching the table to order drinks, her eyes squinted a little. it can't be. Hara widen her eyes as she approaches the person.
"Yoo Kihyun?"
A voice startled the pink haired guy, and he turns around to see a brown haired ponytail girl, wearing a leather jacket and jeans. He then looks up to see a familiar face.
"Hara? what are you doing here?"
"Same goes to you. what are you doing here?"
She is... still pretty.
"stop asking questions over questions." Kihyun snapped and Hara raise her eyebrows as she sat beside him.
"as sassy as ever." Hara chuckled. Kihyun glances towards Hara, as she was ordering a drink.
why did I even break up with her? she didn't changed at all.
"you never answered my question." Kihyun speaks, and Hara looked towards him, with a small smile.
"I came here to celebrate my grades." Hara said with a smile. Kihyun could feel his cheeks burning.
"Really? you continued studying?"
"yup, after I left becoming a trainee, I decided to continuing study and now here I am, in university." Hara shrugs and Kihyun smiled.
"since you already know my answer, I wanna know yours." Hara said as she looked towards Kihyun, who was looking down.
"I don't know.." Kihyun mumbled.
"hey, I saw the comments." Hara said and Kihyun looks at her, with widen eyes.
"you do?"
Hara chuckled. "I'm a fan of Monsta X you know." yeah, a Kihyun bias.
"you're already perfect Kihyun. The fans loves you because of your talent mostly. No matter how chubby you are or skinny, they will still love you."
Kihyun frowns as he remembered the words Hara had said to her back then.
"oppa, when you debut, you do you okay? I mean you already see comments about sunbaenims right? when you debut, please don't be insecure okay? I love you."
"why did I even break up with you?" Kihyun mumbled, but loud enough for Hara to hear.
"why am I so stupid?" Kihyun frown as he looked towards Hara who was looking away.
"to be honest, I came here because you always came to my mind, ever since Tresspass." Kihyun said, as he took another shot. Hara feels hurt to see Kihyun like this.
"you knew you still have my number, you should have just gave me a call, instead of coming here, we could have been friends."
"I don't want to be friends with you, Hara!" Kihyun raise his voice a little, making Hara to be shock.
"I want more than that. I want us back." Kihyun faces Hara and she sighs deeply.
"I don't think that's possible." Hara looks down and Kihyun widen his eyes.
"You are taken are'nt you?" Kihyun said softly and Hara frowns while looking up at him.
"No!"
"Then?"
"Kihyun, you can't just simply say "you want us back.""
"You moved on didn't you?" Kihyun whispered, his voice shaking and Hara looked down.
"For the last time, can I kiss you? just one last time and forget we known each other." Kihyun asked, and Hara looks down for a while, then looks up, nodding while smiling sadly.
Kihyun leans in, his eyes closed as he puts his lips onto Hara's. But what made Kihyun to open his eyes and widen is, Hara kissed him back as he could feel her grabbing his cheeks.
Hara still has feelings for Kihyun. Same goes for Kihyun as well. If it wasn't for Kihyun's dream, he would already have a happy relationship with Hara. But he wanted to become an idol.
and if it wasn't for Hara being stubborn, she could have been friends with Kihyun till now. But she let her emotions go through her, making her to be emotional and cutt off contact with Kihyun.
Hara break off the kiss, with an embarrassed smile on her face.
"wait, did you kiss me back? so that means.." Kihyun mumbled and Hara chuckled.
"we can't bring the old us back. so let's bring the new us, I guess." Hara winks grabbing onto Kihyun's hand, and Kihyun intertwined onto Hara's fingers as who knows where they went to next.
