Harrys P.O.V

Louis and I sit here, in the hallway staring at the walls again. We haven't said a word to each other since the news. I can't believe it really, my mind is numb my body is frozen and I don't know how to react.

"Nina needs you" Louis says after a long time, I turn staring at him puzzled.

"She needs you Harry, regardless of the baby that you aren't thrilled about, she needs you"

I pause not sure how to respond

"I can-t deal with all this right now" I stutter swallowing loudly.

"You have to, that's part of growing up and being an adult. You can't just check out because things are rough" He says sternly

I stare at my feet "I'm only 20 years old"

"Think about Nina" He whispers

"I just need some air I need to think I need her to wake up" My eyes become glossy.

"Sometimes you have to grow up and act like an adult"

"She wouldn't want the baby either" I spit out and instantly feel bad

"How can you say that?" He says with disbelief

"I just know, we've talked about it, please don't tell anyone, my mom, the rest of the lads, the girls, no one please"

He stands and looks at me with immense disappointment

"Don't be fucking stupid, you might loose Nina, and the baby for good, they could die. Stop sulking in your own self pity and think about that. You said Nina was the best thing that happened to you" He strides off back in the direction of the others.

She was the best thing that ever happened to me....

After twenty minutes I decide it's time to go back. There's no point freaking out on Louis everything he said was true.

"Harry!" my mom approaches

"They said you and Tia can go in now, they aren't taking other visitors at this time" She says saddened but happy that we can go in.

I breathe deeply and look to Tia who is in tears.

"She doesn't want to go in Harry, it's just you" Niall informs me as Tia bellows out cries. I don't even ask what's wrong. I'll find out soon enough.

"Okay" I say quietly and hug my mom before walking down the hallway to Nina's room.

I open the door and there's a medical staff surrounding the bed.

They stare at me momentarily before welcoming me to walk further.

"Charles, please present the case" I stand off to the side and my eyes can't leave what I see in front of me.

Nina...

She's hooked up to every cord in the room, she has bandages all over her, and she looks drained. Her face has no color in it and she's almost unrecognizable.

"Nina Marie Antoinette Vinci, age 18, multiple blunt force trauma to the head, a radius fracture, a femur fracture and a patella fracture. Open exit gunshot wound to the abdomen above the uterus causing internal bleeding, 12-15 weeks pregnant and currently under the effects of anesthetic" He takes a deep breath.

I freeze, staring at the group with immense worry.

"We called the pediatricians unit into the surgery and they said it was safe to proceed so we finished the stabilization surgery but that is only the beginning, we have to see if she will wake up and then continue from there, we have the baby on a constant monitor" Another speaks up, I look from Nina to another screen and back again.
