Mistakes were made

Chapter 20

Tobias's pov
Tris can have the twins at anytime. She is 9 months pregnant and she is so uncomfortable. Paisleigh has been really good though. Zeke has been coming over to the house to help out. I still have to work. Coach won't let me take anytime off. I can only take time off when tris is actually having the baby. Zeke quit football because he is going to be taking over the club for a few months. I have practice today till 4 and then I have to fly out of town to Baltimore, Maryland. I just hope that Tris doesn't go into labor while I'm in Baltimore. I look at my watch and see that it's 3:15 so I get my bags and say goodbye to Paisleigh and Tris. I head to practice and the coach gets us loaded on the plane.

Tris's pov
Tobias just left to go to Baltimore. He has a playoff game. I have been experiencing a lot of brax and hicks contractions. I'm starting to think that they are real contractions. I'm just going to time them and then if they are 3 minutes apart I will call Zeke or Uriah. Zeke is usually more reliable in this type of situation. I get another contraction and when it ends I time it. I get another one 3 minutes after that. As I'm getting ready to go get my phone I feel water run down my legs. I yell for Paisleigh and she comes running downstairs. I tell her to grab my phone. She hands it to me and I call Zeke.
Hey tris what's up
Zeke I'm in labor
Okay where are you
I'm at the house with Paisleigh
Okay I'm on my way

10 minutes later Zeke comes running through the door. He picks me up and puts me in the car and then gets Paisleigh. We go to the hospital and they check me in. I get hooked up to the monitors and they see how many centimeters I'm dilated. I'm 4 centimeters dilated and I'm trying to get ahold of Tobias. Finally he answers.
Hey baby what's up
Um I'm at the hospital the twins are on their way
What okay hang on I'm coming

Tobias's pov
I get off the phone with Tris and I run into the pilots room thingy. I tell him to turn the plane around I need to go back to Dallas. He says that he won't unless coach tells him to. I get coach and explain to him what is happening. The plane gets turned around. We finally land and I take off running. The hospital isn't that far away so I should be fine. I get to the hospital and I go to the lady at the front desk. I go up and say Tris Eaton. She says "Tris Eaton is in room 46. I run to her room just as she is getting ready to push. I run to her side and kiss her forehead. Tris starts pushing and she pushes 3 times and our baby boy is out. She pushes 5 more times and our baby girl is born. The nurses check the babies out and they both are perfect. They can go home in 2 days. The nurse comes in with their birth certificates. We fill them out and then Tris breastfeed them and puts them in their first outfit. We all go to sleep.
