Tris's pov
Today is the court day. I'm pretty confident that I'm going to win but im not sure. We are all already at the court house and Lauren and Four just walked in. Paisleigh isn't allowed to be here. I get called to the stand first.
Mrs. Pedrad why don't u want Lauren to be around ur daughter?
Because she does drugs and she is an alcoholic that needed help because she couldn't stop. She smokes and I don't feel comfortable with her around my child.
Have u seen Lauren drinking or smoking?
Yes handfuls of times. Every party I was ever at in high school I witnessed her drink beer after beer after beer. Every time I would see her outside she would have another cigarette in her hand.
Tris's pov
I just got done testifying and the judge is making his decision. The judge walks in and we all rise. He says "I have made my decision. Paisleigh will live with Tris. Tris has full custody and decides who holds and touches and visits her daughter. Four will be allowed to come to Tris's house whenever he wants to see his daughter but Lauren will not be allowed to go visit Paisleigh ever. If Lauren touches Tris's daughter she will be arrested". Yes, we won I'm so happy I get to keep my little girl.
