Chapter 9

Tobias's pov
I am going to propose to Lauren. I am also going to court for custody of Paisleigh. Tris doesn't want Lauren around Paisleigh but Lauren is going to be my wife and Tris is going to have to accept that. I'm proposing tonight when Lauren comes over. I got an apartment so I can see Lauren whenever I want to. Lauren knocks on my door and I open it and get down on one knee and say "Lauren will u marry me" she squeals and says yes. I get up and we kiss. I text Zeke and tell him that me and Lauren are engaged. He texts back I'm not happy for u and don't talk to me and expect me to be in the wedding. I call him. (Zeke in regular Tobias in italics)
Why aren't u happy for me and Lauren
Because u hurt Tris. If u don't remember Tris is my little sis
Well Paisleigh is my daughter to and if I say Lauren can hold her she can

Tris's pov
I can believe Four proposed to Lauren. I completely lost the love of my life. I do regret leaving but I don't regret it because I wouldn't of became who I am today if I would have stayed in Chicago. Lauren is such a slut and she will not go near my daughter. Court starts tomorrow and I can't believe Four is going to try and take her away from me. I'm the only person that has been there for her since day 1. There is no way in hell Paisleigh will live with him. She only trusts me and doesn't even know Four. If four wins I won't be able to function. I will be so pissed.
Tobias's pov
Today is my baby girl's 1st birthday. I can't believe I have missed a year of her life. I was here for a little bit of it but I didn't even know I had a daughter. Lauren can't come to my daughter's birthday and I'm kinda mad about it but I'm not going to fight Tris on it today since today is all about Paisleigh. Paisleigh just woke up so Tris is going up to get her ready. Paisleigh runs downstairs in the cutest outfit ever. I stayed the night over here because it's my baby girl's birthday. Paisleigh yells "daddy your here". I give her a big hug and a kiss and say "yep baby girl I'm here". She starts jumping up and down when Tris brings in pancakes. Paisleigh loves Pancakes. We eat the pancakes then everyone gives Paisleigh her gifts before everyone else starts coming. Caleb and his girlfriend are coming. Tris's parents are coming and my mom and brother and sister are coming. Some of Tris's friends are coming and Tris's new boyfriend is coming. The doorbell rings and Tris's boyfriend is here his name is Alex and I hate him. Tris has always been my true love. I want to spend the rest of my life with her but no I have to propose to Lauren and now I'm getting married to her.
Tris's pov
I can't believe my baby girl is 1. Four looks so jealous when Alex came. He was the one that had to propose to Lauren. I want a guy that wakes me up in the middle of the night to hear my voice, to bring me flowers every time we go on a date, tell me how much he loves me, calls me beautiful everyday. Oh wait I just described Tobias.
