Finding what i didn't know was missing

It's the next day, Friday and its my free class period so i Ask Alexis one of my friend who i sit in the library, with to drive me to Kelvin's condo.

We pull up to this huge building and my eyes just widen. I look over at Alexis and she had the same face as me ''who the fuck are you finna go see''

''a friend''

''god damn, ouu sorry excuse my language but what kinda friends do you have''

''okay you basically live in a Mansion''

''okay i have a nice house because my parents'' i just rolled my eyes at her then kissed her on the forehead.

"Bye love, thank you for the ride"

''okay ill see you later'' she smiled at me and i got out the car. your probably wondering why i don't just ask her for money. but the thing is i have before, i made something up like i wanted to buy my parents a present, so she gave me $150. but i didn't want to ask again because she might know something's up. The only reason jimmy knows is because he lives a couple of houses down from mine and we've known each other for four years and I've known Alexis for a year and a half.

I finally get to his room number and i knock on the door. I started to shake from being scared. I don't know what his reaction will be plus i don't even know what i'm going to say. The door finally opened and Kevin looked confused but also amused for some reason ''um okay, i didn't expect you to be here'' he said leaning against the wall.

''um yeah i know i just... i don't... um sorry'' he just laughed and opened the door for me to come in.

when i got in side my mouth dropped at how amazing it looked ''oh my god this is just awesome'' i said holding my hands together on my chest like a girl.

''um thanks. are you thirsty'' i shook my head yes speechless at the view he had.

''you live here by your self'' i asked grabbing the drink he was handing me.

''yeah'' i took a sip of the drink and i almost chocked. It tasted like rotten fruit.

''oh god i don't drink alcohol , i never have anyway'' i put the glass down on his table next to the kitchen. he had to eating tables who has that in there freaking... anything.

''it's just wine'' he said laughing a little. He sure loved to laugh at me a lot.

''well its disgusting'' we both just laughed.

''okay so are you going to tell me why you're here'' damn i totally forgot about that. honestly i kinda wanted to.

''um it's stupid really'' I said looking down at my swinging foot. Kevin lifted my head up and he was looking at me as in saying 'okay tell me' ''i just wanted to know if you wanted to go on a date with me'' i said very slowly trying to figure out a lie.

''that's it'' he said dropping his hand.

''see i knew it was stupid'' i said looked down at my intertwined hands. For some reason I do that a lot. Either that or I'm looking at my feet.

''no its not its cute'' Kevin said lifting my head up with his finger again.

''oh well you don't have to if you do... ''no no i will'' he said interrupting me. i just smiled at him and he returned the smile.

''well i better go so i can get my sisters'' I really just wanted to get out of that place before I embarrassed my self anymore than I had already.

''do you have a ride?'' Kevin asked.

''um yes'' i lied.

''no you don't''
