Finding what i didn't know was missing

chapter 5

I woke up to the smell of bacon and syrup and to Anna laughing at a show on TV. I sat up slowly and looked around taking in my surrounding. I knew where i was and for some reason I felt comfortable and not awkward. I look over at the kitchen and Kevin is fixing plates. "Morning sleeping beauty" Kevin said looking at me with a huge smile on his face.

"Sleeping ha what am I a girl" I said rubbing my eyes so I could see better.

"No kid It's just an expression" I just rolled my eyes and got up and walk to the kitchen after saying hi to Anna and giving her a kiss on the for head. "You look good in my sweat pants, they're a little too big but sexy on you" I look down and noticed that I didn't have the clothes I had on last night. All I had on was some sweatpants that definitely wasn't mine.

"What the fuck you un dressed me" I said angry. It just came to me Anna didn't have her same clothes on either.

"I thought you would be more comfortable in that" Kevin said backing away.

"No I don't like the fact that a man I don't know just undressed me with out me agreeing and did you undress my sisters too" I said running over and picking up Anna

"Well yes sorr..."and where is Lisa" "she's asleep its okay"

"No its not I'm going home you pervert"

"PERVERT! What the fu... I'm not a pervert I just treated them like I would my niece"

"Well there not your fucking niece or your kid's" I ran in a room that I was so glade was the guess room. I picked up Lisa and walked back in the living room. Kevin was standing there confused. "Take me home and were are their clothes"

"wait June I didn't do anything to those girls I swear, nor did I touch you in any sexual way. I just.. Kevin sat on his couch and took a deep breath "Their clothes are in the dresser in the guess room so is yours. I'll get my keys." The look on his face made me really feel bad for yelling at him and calling him a pervert. but I love my sisters and I don't want anything happening to them. And to be honest he still is a stranger and I only trust Jimmie and Alexis with them.

I went in the guess room and laid Lisa back down on the bed then went and sat next to Kevin.

"I'm sorry for calling you a pervert I just.. "Its okay kid I should have ask you. I just didn't want to wake you up you looked very peaceful"

"yeah I'm not mad you any more. I think I went over bored by calling you that, I just love those girls and don't want anything to happened to them. I don't want there lives to end up like mine. I want them to be happy and enjoy being kids you know"

"I get it. I know you're doing your best that's why I'm just trying to help so it can be less stress on you and they can be happy" I jumped in his lap and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"I'm hungry" I said kissing his neck all the way to his lips.

"let's go eat.."no, no, let's stay like this a little longer" I said pushing him back down. Kevin smiled then wrapped his arm around me.

After almost an hour of cuddling and having small talk, I almost feel asleep so Kevin and I got up to finish making everyone's plat. we had to put it in the oven for a little to get the flavor back.

Now Kevin and I are sitting on the couch eating while Lisa and Anna are watching Sofia the princess.

"soon we need go back. Plus we really need some clothes and I didn't brush my teeth today gross and I kissed you sorry" Kevin did a little laugh then sat his plat on the floor then pulled me into his strong arms.

"its okay kid your breath smells fine, plus I have extra toothbrushes for all of you. and we can just buy some clothes. and honestly I really just want you guys to stay with me"

"What do you mean like until I get back on my feet"

"Nooo I mean I want to you know... Be with you and I wanna help you with the girls" I sat up and looked into Kevin's eyes seeing if he was joking or serious. His eyes looked filled with emotion.

"Um are you saying you want me to.... "Yes June I want you to be my boyfriend" hearing him say that put a huge smile on my face, but it went away fast.

"What about the house and my mom"

"You didn't sign the lease on that house so your patents will have to deal with that and if you want your mom can visit"

"I don't know about her visiting hear but we can meet up"

"Okay well it's Settled. Tomorrow I'll give you guys some clothes to wear for school and I'll give you a ride on my way to work. Okay kid"

"Yeah but you have to stop calling me kid" I said laughing.

"Sorry babe"

"Oh god, fine i guess that works" I rolled my eyes then laid back in Kevin's arm.
