Finding what i didn't know was missing

chapter 12

I'm sitting in my second period class with Alexis and my other friend Jackson, we're all working on our lab project "hey June you should come over babe and bring the girls" Alexis said while hoping on the counter. I never told her about what happened only Jimmy knows.

"Yeah you should and you need to stop playing and get with me" Jackson said popping his collar. Apparently he doesn't know what you're not my type means.

"I can't and as for you Jackson" I said pushing his head with my finger so I could get the ruler behind him "I have someone" Jackson laughed.

"Yeah but I don't know when you're just going to dump Timothy already I don't like him" I froze at the mention of Timothy's name.

"Yeah for real June" Alexis chimed in. Wow I really need to start updating my friends on my life, I mean obviously they do care about me. 

"I don't date him anymore guys" Jackson sighed.

"Good then who are you dating?" Jackson asked.  Alexis stopped working and looked at me to answer.

"You remember the apartment you dropped me off at two weeks ago" I asked Alexis. Her eyes went wide and she slapped my shoulders 'hard'.

"No fucking way" Alexis yelled.  I rubbed my shoulder and shook my head yes.

"Wait I'm confused" Jackson said throwing his hands up then dropping them to his sides. 

"Okay so... " Alexis can I tell the man" I said laughing "oh my bad go ahead" Alexis put her hands up surrendering.
"Okay this guy gave me a ride to school one day to pick up the girls because his niece went to the same school as Anna. And he kept popping up so I decided to go to his house to thank him for giving me a ride... " Wait what about you mom" "Alexis can I finish please" I said laughing.  She always dose this.

"Sorry" Alexis rolled her eyes and zipped her mouth with her fingers. 

"Okay like I was saying I went there and the next day we went out to eat blah blah blah and basically he met the girls and we started dating" I shrugged my shoulder like it was nothing. 

"Wow so how old is this guy..." Jackson asked " Yeah you never told me and I knows he's old because his condo building looked huge" Alexis added. 

"He's 22"

"Damn okay rejected me for a sugar daddy that's fine" Jackson fake cried.  Me and Alexis just laughed at him.

"He's not my sugar daddy he's only three years older than me remember I'll be 19 this summer"

"Yeah I forgot you skipped school a lot last year.  Why was that?"

"Family problems that's all. you know my grandma died and other shit like that" I lied sort of because my grandma did die but I also didn't have a ride to get me and the girls to school and jimmy rides the bus so.

"Oh well that's okay you met me" Alexis said cheerfully.

"Yeah that's one good thing" I said smiling at her.

"So you coming over?" Alexis asked.

"Yeah but I can't bring the girls there with my mom"

"Okay well you just bring your fine self" Jackson said. Alexis and I just rolled our eyes.

"Wait who the fuck said you could come over" Alexis asked Jackson. We all just started laughing.

"I can't come?"

"Yeah you can"

"Good because I think you're sexy to babe" Jackson said licking his lips.  Bisexual people.  I said in my head causing me to laugh.
