Chapter 14

Coles pov

When i got "home" i saw a bunch of maids and butlers running around putting up decorations. They were going overboard in my opinion. They had put way too many blue and purple flowers, so many fish tanks with exotic fish and coral, SOOOO MUCH FOOD though im not complaining bout the food, there was a dj and photo booths. I walked to my room to wrap the presents. I used  purple wrapping paper and wrote my name on it. I then knock on the door to Annie's room.
"Who is it?" Comes a murmured reply. "Its Cole." I said.
"Come in." She said.
I walked in and i saw her in a sparkling purple dress. "Wow..." I said in almost a whisper. She blushed a little.
"Its pretty right?" She said still blushing.
"Yea you are..." I said suddenly. Then realizing what I said I turned red. She looked at me and turned redder.
"Um...."came her reply
I was freaking out and i couldnt believe that i just blurted that out. She was really pretty though but i didnt want to say anything because i was scared she would reject me.
"T-thanks cole..." She stuttered a bit.

Annies pov

Omg he just... Said that... Ahhhh... Wait does he like me. But what if he was just faking it like Ryder? NO! Hes nothing like him he would never do that. Why emtions whyyyyyy! I cant deal with these emotions. I cant fall for my best friend! Ugh. I have to get rid of these emotions. "Your welcome Annie." Came his steady reply. I looked at his face it was a little red but other wise looked calm. How can he look so calm!!!!!!
"I came here to give you your gift." He said interrupting my thoughts.  "Oh.." I hesitated. He hands me a box as big as a canvas but taller. Our hands momentarily touched but i pulled my hands away. It was wrapped in purple wrapping paper and had a silver bow. "Go on open it." He said nervously.
    I open it and i see a beautiful purple pendant with a wolf on it. "Oh my god its so pretty!" I say excitedly. "Can you put it on me, please." (So cliche ik ik)
    "K just turn around and move your hair." He says as i hand it to him.
    I move my hair to the side as he puts it on. I then go to my vanity and look at it. I see Coles face out of the corner of my eye. He seems nervous.
     "There are two more presents." He says.
    "REALLY!!" I squealed. I go to the box and see a beautiful painting of a boy and a girl at sunset. I loved all the shades in the sunset and how it blended beautifully.
    "Its wonderful Cole, thank you so much!." I said happily.
   "Your missing the last one though." He said teasingly.
  "Oh yeah i forgot. Sorry." I said laughing at my stupidity.
   I look at the last thing and its a hand made oreo heart pendant. These are the sweetest presents i have ever gotten.
   "Thanks Cole. I love these presents so much and will cherish them forever!" I said walking over to my jewelry box.
  I will have to buy a charm bracelet later and put the pendant on it.
