chapter 4

Annie's POV

I was walking to school with Cole when all of a sudden my phone vibrates. Cole looks at me funny but I just ignore it. I grab my phone and look at the txt it's from Ryder.
Ryder: hey Annie •////•
Annie: oh hey Ryder wats with the Blushy face?
Ryder: ummm I have to ask u something.
Annie: yea ??
Ryder: do u wanna be my gf?
Annie: o////o yea sure

I got red. Cole notices and murmured something under his breath. Then he says
    " are you ok? Your like really red. I respond with
     "yea I'm OK it's just this guy I really like asked me out!!"

Cole's pov

Someone asked her out. I knew I should have asked her out a long time ago. My face fell.
    "Are you ok? You seem sad bout something." She asks.
    " Oh i-its nothing." I stutter a little.
   "You sure cuz u seem I don't know upset." She says.
    "I'm sure. So tell me bout this guy and if he hurts you know that I will beat him up." I say being a little overprotective.
     "Your so funny sometimes. Hahaha. Well where do I begin. Ummm well I have known him since 4th grade and we were very close. I had always liked him and felt drawn to him. It's weird I don't know I feel connected to him." 
     She then describes how she feels about him and his characteristics but I tune out cuz it just makes me feel bad cuz I like her and feel like she will never like me. Oh well. We get to her house and we say our goodbyes. I run home. As soon as I get home I jump on my bed and text Miley cuz she always knows just what to say.

Cole: hey
Myli: oh hey Cole wats up?
Cole: the sky jk just feeling a bit down
Myli: oh u heard Annie is dating Ryder huh
Cole: um yea I feel really sad
Myli: just try to be there for her
Cole: Ik and of course I will
Myli: cuz she's gonna need a shoulder to cry on real soon
Cole: wat do u mean
Myli: cuz Ryder doesn't like her he's using her to get to her old bff which u know as Mia
Cole: wtf r u serious he's using her
Myli: yup read the txt he sent me
(Miley send the screenshot of the texts (it reads))
Ryder: Myli Ik I can trust u with my secret cuz u always keep them and pls don't tell Annie
Myli: wat do u mean Annie's my friend
Ryder: I'm just using Annie to get close to Mia
Miley: wtf Annie really likes u
Ryder: ik but I don't feel the same
Myli: Annie isn't really close to Mia but ik she will tell Mia cuz they r still kinda friends

Cole: f**kin douchebag I can't believe he would do that
Myli: tell Annie cuz I don't want to betray his trust cuz I can learn things and use em against him. But if it doesn't work u could always date me ;)
Cole: u can be evil sometimes and nooooo
Myli: yea wtv

I then go to sleep thinking of how imma break the news to Annie
