Chapter 17

Annie's POV

     We ran down the stairs as fast as we could. When we made it to the end of the stairs we saw everyone huddled in a corner but there were two bodies in the middle and they didn't move. Immediately I ran towards them but Cole ran to a room that was hidden under the stairs.

Cole's POV
  
   I ran towards the armory under the stairs that I found when I went exploring. I grabbed two katanas that were already sharpened and could slice through metal. I tested them out that's how I know. Then I ran out and found Annie near the two bodies. I turned and saw the people there standing in shock. I turned to the butler and screamed
   "Take these people somewhere safe. They can't be here to witness this." He nodded all the while I said this. I turned back to see Annie crying. I wondered why she cried then I saw the bodies belonged to Ryder and Myli. Myli was still breathing but Ryder's breaths were shaky.
  "Go see what's wrong with Ryder I'll take care of Myli." I told her.
   She nodded and went towards him. She caressed his cheek and kept on crying. I turned away to see Myli. She had opened her eyes and she was crying. I wiped away her tears.
    "Don't cry it's gonna be ok we will call the ambulance and you will be okay." I told her while wiping away her tears.
    "It's too late for me Cole. It doesn't matter this is my punishment for causing everyone so much frustration. I'm such a spoiled little girl that just wanted attention. I've accepted the fact that I have to die. Just let me go it doesn't matter. I deserve it. My parents would never care they only adopted me to make sure their true daughter wouldn't be alone. They never needed me or wanted me. I just wish I could've been a better person. I'm sorry for burdening you and Annie. You guys would've been happier without me. Especially her. Without me she would've been a happier person. She would've been the most popular girl always happy and bubbly but all I did was put her down until she just faded. There's a note in my pocket for her can you give it to her please?" She said crying, reaching into her pocket giving it to me.
   "Myli don't be like that you can still live you can redeem yourself and be a better friend to Annie." I said realizing that I was crying.
   "Cole don't cry for me it's not worth it. You know after me bothering you and flirting with you in school I started to realize the fear in your eyes. You always hated and feared me deep down and I could tell through your eyes. I tried to get rid of it because I liked you but I never could. The only one who ever did that was Annie. Please.... Take.....care of... Her....."she said with her last breath and then her eyes went glassy and she laid in my arms. I cried and then kissed her lips and laid her down. I walked over to Annie. Ryder was in her arms sleeping peacefully but alive. She picked him up and took him to her room and called the ambulance and his parents. We headed back downstairs in to find Alana and wait for the ambulance.

Annie's POV

    He kissed her... Cole kissed Myli as she slowly faded away. I had stopped crying but seeing that I started crying again. I turned back to Ryder who had fallen asleep in my arms. I placed my forehead on his and just let my tears fall on his face. Cole came over to me and placed his hand on my shoulder. I then carried Ryder to my room and placed him on the bed. I called his mom and then the ambulance which was only 5 minutes away. Then we headed downstairs to wait finding Alana still in the kid room hiding. I hugged her and then we waited on the ends of the stairs for the ambulance.

Yay I finished this chapter. I wanted Myli to be redeemed but some ppl disagreed cuz they hate her but I tried to make her redeem herself and feel sorry. So she died and Ryder didn't don't judge me he could be a very useful character in the future to me not to Annie. Tell me if u think Myli redeemed herself in the comments I think so but u guys may not. The song is tribute to Myli since she ded.
