chapter 5

Annie's POV

I woke up feeling super happy! I checked my texts this morning and turns out Cole texted me. I read it and I couldnt believe he left me to walk to school alone. Ugh imma be alone great.

Cole: hey Annie when u see this u may be mad but I'm not walking to school with u imma tell u why during recess cuz I can't face u in the morning cuz I don't know how to tell u.

I leave it on read and head to school ALONE. Ugh. Once I get to school I go over to my bff Myli and say hi to her and our very small group of friends known as ashley, Eva, Natalia, Mary and Val. They r the best friends I could ever have though sometimes they are so annoying. I turn to see Cole with his friends laughing. He looks up at me but I don't see what he does next cuz I immediately turn around and laugh at something the girls said trying to ignore his soft caramel eyes looking at me.

Cole's pov

I saw her this morning looking my way but she quickly turned around and laughed at something Eva said. I know she was faking it but I want to find out why she didn't hug me this morning and completely ignored me. I feel bad letting her walk alone but I couldn't face her in the morning not knowing what to say. I see her come outside with one of her friends. As soon as she sees me she runs towards me but she's mad. Without warning she tackles me then punches me in the gut.
     "Shit did you have to punch me." I say
    "yes I did cuz you left me to walk ALONE." She says screaming the last word. Thankfully no one stared at us or looked our way. They probably thought she was just on her moody days cuz she can be a bit moody.
     "I'm sorry it's just I didn't know the right words to tell you that ur bf was using you." I said.
       "WAIT hes using me. Wait I'm not sure if your just saying this cuz your jealous." She says.
     " Annie I'm not lying he's using you to get closer to Mia cuz he's always liked her not you." I blurt out.
     "Do u have any proof." She says angrily. "Yes I do let me get out my phone." ( They can use there phones in school cuz they don't have as many rules at my school also they have free dress) I say getting my phone out of my pocket. I scroll through the messages and find it. I then show it to her.

Annie's POV
I saw it was on the chat he had with Myli. I thought about what they talked about... Wait why am I thinking that. That's his business I shouldn't care. I read the texts. I get tears in my eyes. The next thing I know is that I'm on my knees crying my heart out. I thought he liked me. He had made me feel special for the day we were together. Why was he doing this to me. Was I really this ugly. Did he really not like me. We used to be friends. I can't believe this whyyyy. I should have known I mean I got this weird feeling that he was using me or something but it actually happened. T~T

OK so that was the chapter. I really poured out the sadness cuz I was expecting something like that to happen to me so it was bottled up in me and next chapter she will be really depressed and may or may not end up getting with Cole or maybe she will meet someone new we never know. I hope u liked it.
