Love sucks

A sleepover? With vampires?

I actually have no idea why I asked him to stay for the night. Oh. It may have been because of Sean. I'm actually afraid he might want to rape me in my sleep or something. I definitely trust Jayden more. Our relationship didn't start well, but maybe we will become friends? Ahhh. What am I talking about? I'm stupid, but he is kinda handsome... I mean he has nice black hair, pretty green eyes. Oh my god! What if he will steal my future crush from me?! I don't have a crush now, but what if?! Or worse... he falls in love with Sean! Then I will have to lay in bed with earbuds plugged in every night.

I got a little lost in thought, until I felt someone lightly shake my body.

"Jayden please don't fall in love with Sean! And don't make noise at night with him! And just don't interact with him! Please!" I blurted out, I was petrified. The thought of having to deal with not only noise at night, but also the feeling of being forever alone was not what I wanted!

"Hey, Vanessa, it's okay. I won't. You look horrified though, are you ok?" Jayden asked as he poked my cheek.

What if he falls in love with Sean and then he breaks his heart and Jayden will hate me and drink my blood? Or they will be happy and after some time Jayden moves in and after even longer they throw me out and I live alone in a flat with a shit ton of cats?! Or Jayden will move in after they are a couple, but even after they break up he will want to stay?! Then I would live with 2 exes!!! I would get eaten!

I heard someone snap their fingers.

"Vanessa, you are acting weird." Jayden said as he looked at my, probably sweaty and red face.

"I AM JUST WORRIED FOR MY LIFE RIGHT NOW! I DON'T WANNA END UP ALONE WITH CATS, WHILE YOU AND SEAN LIVE HERE HAPPILY!!" Jayden just shook his head.

"Vanessa." I looked at him. Calming down a bit.

"I'm not gay. I don't like guys." He said.

What?

WHAT?

WHAT?!

"Are you serious?" I took a deep breath. "That's a relief."

"Why is it a relief?" He asked so innocently I would maybe believe he wasn't a vampire if I didn't know he was.

"BECAUSE I LIKE TO SLEEP AT NIGHT. AND SEAN IS A PERV." I said a bit frustrated.

"Okay, okay. I was just joking. I like sleeping at night too. Even though I don't really need to sleep that much. I just enjoy sleeping."

"I will try to keep it down then." Sean said from the kitchen.

"Don't try. You must be quiet, or I will find you a new home real fast. There is a bridge near here." I yelled as I looked through my watchlist.

"Sure ma' am." I didn't even bother responding to him anymore. Sigh.

"Oh. So Jayden you're staying or not?" I asked as I munched on a cookie.

"Sure. We gonna watch something?" I felt him slide closer to me.

"Yeah well I wanted to watch some horror movies, if you're up to that."

"I WANNA JOIN." I heard Sean.

"You know what, since we're gonna be living together Sean, how about we play truth or dare? Jayden can play with us, we will get to know each other." I smile as my masterplan may be of use today.

"I'm in, it's not fun with only 3 people though. Let's invite more!"

"Sean, you have nobody to invite."

"Well do you Jayden?"

Their little argument was adorable, but I had to interrupt.

"I could invite Sarah and Al?" I said as I felt my cat curl into my lap.

"Who's this little guy? What a cute kitty you are. Can I pet it?" I heard Jayden ask.

"Yeah, go ahead and his name is Suga." I say and take a second cookie in my mouth.

"I don't mind meeting new people, so as long as Jayden is ok with it, I'm in."

"Cool, I will leave you for now, I gotta make a call. Please don't molest Suga. Be gentle with him." I said and went upstairs.

"Hello, Sarah do you want to come over later? For a sleepover. I wanna invite Al too. I have 2 peeps here already."

"Oh sure! I will be there at like 7? And who are you with? Huh? Hotties? Wait! You went out with all the werewolves roaming around?! You could've suffocated!"

"No I didn't go out Sarah, they came over to me. So I'm cool."

"Okay that's a relief, so now, who are you with?"

"Sean who is the most naive person ever, also he happens to be living with me for time being, and he is a vampire. Oh! And Jayden is here too. He came over to check why I didn't show up at school and just kinda stayed." I said casually.

"WHAT?! Oh my god, you are honestly something. How do you get so lucky?!"

"Lucky? I will need to live with a perverted vampire and be scared for my virginity and neck every night!"

"Point! Okay I will call Al, and tell him to come to your house at 7. He will get the drinks, you just buy some food. Okay?"

"Okay sure, see you then!"

"See ya!" I hanged up and walked back downstairs.

I stopped. I took a deep breath.

"What are you two doing?" I ask as calmly as I can.

I honestly was so curious of their explanation, after all it is hard to explain why Jayden was holding Suga's front paws and Sean was holding his back paws. They both looked at me and let go of my cat.

"Explain. Now." I said as I sat down and cuddled Suga to comfort him.

"Well Sean was trying to molest the poor kitty!"

"But I just wanted to pet him and Jayden wouldn't let me!"

"Because you're not gentle! You'd hurt the poor thing!"

"No I wouldn't!"

"Okay stop! Don't argue and go buy some snacks, we're going to have guests in like 3 hours. Oh! And buy some food for Suga too. The one in the silver or blue packaging. You could also buy some toilet paper and milk." I say and sit back, still cuddling my cat.

"You want us to go together?!" I heard them unitedly yell.

"Well, you're big boys, you can handle it. Now go, if you have any problems call me, the number is on the fridge, and take your time. Make sure you got everything." I say and put on an episode of a show I wanted to watch before Jayden interrupted me.

I heard them look through my cupboard and groan.

"I like cookies and anything with white chocolate in it, Sarah likes crisps and other salty things, and Al likes both, so go to the store now please!" I yelled and pet Suga as we watched Tv together.

"Okay we're going out!" They yell back and the door shuts.
