ARIANNAS POV

My alarm went off at 6:30 AM. Another day of school and a closer day to graduation. I was so happy to be leaving in only a couple of weeks. I put in my mind that I would focus on school and not any kind of relationship. I couldn't wait to move to Boston and just start over.
I washed up, put my clothes on and made breakfast for me and Kyla. 15 minutes later Kyla came downstairs in shock.

"Since when do you make us breakfast!?"

"I don't know...I just feel really good today"

"Did something extraordinary happen last night after I went to sleep?" Kyla said raising her eyebrows up and down.

"Um no I went straight to sleep like I said. Kyla I just can't wait to get out of here. I can move away and go to Boston where no one knows me. I get to have a fresh start."

"Why do you want a fresh start? Ari I know what you mean but you're the only one happy in this situation. I don't want you to leave. What am i gonna do without you?"

I was thinking about myself and my plans so much that I didn't even realize that I was really leaving the people I love behind. I didn't want to leave them but I certainly wanted to leave Texas.

"I'm sorry Kyla, don't think that us being far away is going to change anything. I'll still call you every day and tell you every little thing that happens while I'm there. It'll be just like here."

"Not really but we'll see."

We ate breakfast and talked a little more about graduation. We were just about to leave when someone knocked on the door.

"Kyla...who is it"

"Girl how would I know if I'm sitting right here with you? Go open it"

I opened the door and saw Victor.

"Oh, hey Victor" I said looking back at Kyla. She immediately got up came to the door.

"Uh hey guys...Kyla I was wondering if you would um like to ride with me to school?"

"That's to sweet but I was actually gonna go with-

"No she wasn't, Kyla go with Victor I'll be right behind yall"

"Oh okay well lets go!"

Kyla and Victor drove off while I got my keys and headed to my car. I checked my phone one last time before I took off and had saw that I gotten a text from Damon.

Damon: Good Morning beautiful❤️

Ari: Good Morning handsome💓

Damon: I'm picking you up at 7:00 tonight, be ready😌

Ari: Yeah cause I'm gonna just cancel all my plans 😐

Damon: Lmao yeah like you really had any

Ari: You right lol, so where are we going?

Damon: It's a surprise

Ari: Oh gosh...okay

When I got to school I saw Kyla and Victor talking.
