When we got to the restaurant we all sat down and the lady came and took our order.
"Hello I'm Tasha, can I start you guys off with any drinks?"
"I'll have a sprite." Trevor said.
"Can I get a sweet tea with light ice?" I asked.
"Of course, and for you ma'am?"
"A coke would be fine." My mom said.
"Alright, and for you sir?"
"Raspberry lemonade." Damon said.
"Alright, I'll be back with those drinks." She said as she walked off.
"So Trevor you got a little boo or something, you've been in your phone all night." I said.
He finally looked up.
"Nah, it's my cousin Stephanie she's been trying to get me to meet her new boyfriend."
"Stephanie?" I asked.
"Yeah...what, you know her or something?"
"Stephanie Jackson?" I asked.
"That's her, how do you-
"Omg she's like my bestfriend! Besides my friend Kyla but she's like my sister- but anyways yes! And her boyfriend Marcus! He's amazing and he has the sweetest little girl-
"Marcus?! Wait he has a daughter?" Trevor asked.
"Yes, I'm her God Mother."
He sighed and looked down.
"I just don't want her getting hurt again, especially by Marcus, he's hurt her before already."
"Oh you don't have to worry about that, Marcus is a great guy and he loves Stephanie-
"Alright can we stop talking about Marcus and how greeaaat he is." Damon said, cutting me off.
"Um okay then." I said.
"So Trevor is it your first year here?" My mom asked.
"Oh no ma'am, I'm a sophomore this year."
"Ahh I see, what's your major?" He asked.
"I'm a law-major so I'm majoring in philosophy right now, when I get out of college I'll start law school and then hopefully become a lawyer." Trevor said.
"Wow, I never would've thought that." I said.
"Why? I just don't look like the type of person to be a lawyer right."
"Nooo I mean- well yeah." I said laughing.
"Uh wait, did you really think I wanted to be a lawyer? Well I do so don't judge a book by its cover." He said in his girl voice.
My and my mom started laughing and Damon just sat there.
I decided to text him instead of making a scene as he would do.
Me- what's wrong with you?
Damon❤️💍- Nothing
Me- Damon I'm not doing this with you again, just tell me.
Damon❤️💍- Nothing Arianna! Just leave it alone.
After that I didn't text back. I didn't talk or even look at him for the rest of the night.
They lady came back with our drinks and we ordered our food.
While we were eating I got a FaceTime call from Marcus. I didn't want to be disrespectful at the table but I had to answer so I did.
