"So how was the first daaaayy?" Stephanie asked me as we ate at Panda Express.

We decided to go out and get to know each other a little more.

"It was honestly great. I feel like I'm already in love with Armani."

"Girl I'm in love with her dad." She said with a straight face.

We both started laughing.

"Girl you stupid." I said.

"You know he fine girl."

"Yes I know, but I have a wonderful boyfriend."

"Ahhh I see." She said smirking.

"So what about you? You have a special person?" I said grinning.

"Marcus." She said with a straight face.

This girl.

"Armani's dad?"

"Girl I love the guy. We used to be best friends...until Lexi came along. Marcus and Lexi started dating and he kinda just left me. I became a third wheel all the time. One day he told me Lexi was pregnant. I was so upset because I loved him and had so many feelings for him and I knew at the end Lexi wasn't the right one for him."

She looked down at her food and sighed.

"So what happened?" I was so curious now.

"When Lexi had Armani, she was never really there anymore but Marcus was still with her. Marcus took care of Armani all the time. You would never see her without him. Long story short, Lexi ended up cheating on Marcus and now he's a single father."

I looked down and sighed.

"That's horrible."

"Yeah I know right."

"You still haven't told him about how you feel huh?"

"I can't half the time I want nothing to do with him and the other half...

"I understand."

The rest of the time we talked about more happier things.

Steph was actually a pretty cool person with a great personality.

Stephanie took me home and Damon and my mom were watching Stranger Things when I walked in.

These two.

"I'm home." I said smiling as I took off my jacket.

"How was it?" They both said at the same time.

"Wonderful, I met the sweetest little girl. Her name is Armani!" I said clapping and jumping up and down.

I don't know why I was so excited.

"That's great baby! Do you go in tomorrow?" My mom asked.

"I'm not sure but I'm going anyways." I said.

"I told you this was a good idea." Damon said smiling.

"Yeah, you're a smart guy." I replied.

I cleaned myself up, popped some popcorn and joined my mom and Damon.

I couldn't wish for a better life right now.

My alarm went off at 9:15. I quickly got up and ate breakfast. I put on a big t-shirt, tights and my white converse. I put my hair in a quick ponytail and headed off to the Daycare Center.
