ARIANNAS POV

It was literally 2 more weeks until I graduated. It was Wednesday and I only had the rest of the week to go until summer came. I was more than excited. My alarm went off and I quickly turned it off. I sat in my bed for awhile until I heard my door slightly open.

"Kyla?? Is that you?" I whispered.

I looked over and saw that she was still sleep on the floor.

I slowly turned around and looked over at my door.

"Omg!" I yelled.

I jumped out of my bed and ran to the door.

"Oh my- I've missed you so much mom! Why didn't you tell me you were coming back!!!"

I jumped on her and planted kisses all over her face.

"My goodness Ari you're not as light at you were when you were a baby."

"Oo sorry." I said getting off of her.

"Who's this?" She said looking at Kyla.

"Let's go downstairs, there's a loootttt I need to tell you."

*20 minutes later*

"And all this happened while I was gone?"

"Yup but don't worry mom it's all under control."

"And that stupid boyfriend of yours...I knew he wasn't good enough for you from the beginning."  She sighed looking down.

"Ex mom- he's my ex boyfriend." I chuckled.

"But this Damon boy...you like him?"

"I do...a lot."

"Hmmm."

"He's a really good guy mom, I promise..he respects me, protects me.. mom he makes me happy."

My feelings for Damon were way more than I expected. I don't even know if he feels the same way about me. We never really talked about our feelings with each other. With everything that's going on there just hasn't been any time.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I saw Kyla appear at the end of the stairs.

"Oh Kyla look, my moms home!"

"Mom?! Omg I've been dying to meet you!" Kyla said jumping up and down, clapping her hands.

"Hey sweetie! How are you?"
My mom said embracing Kyla in a hug.

"I'm good. Okay so look after school we can go shopping then get our nails done! Oh and definitely go out to eat!" Kyla said semi yelling.

"Of course honey, we could do that. Arianna will you be coming with us?"

"Ummm no y'all go ahead. I think imma meet up with Damon later, but tomorrow is definitely our day." I said smiling.

"It was fun talking but we have to get to school."

"You girls be safe."

"Okay mom." Me and Kyla said at the same time.

I walked into school and saw Asia there for the first time. I didn't even know she went to my school. It's been almost 2 months since the "accident" happened. At that moment I just stopped. My whole body just froze. My legs locked up and as much as I wanted to keep walking I just couldn't.

"Yo? Are you okay?"
"Arianna?"
"Ari what's wrong with you?"

I could barely hear Drew and Kyla's voice.

Everything went black. I couldn't see. I couldn't feel. I couldn't breathe.

I opened my eyes and saw my mom, Kyla, Drew and Damon talking in the corner of the room.

"Mo- mom?"

"Heyy sweetie how you feeling?"

"What happened?" I asked trying to sit up.

"Babe please just lay down for a while." I looked up and saw Damon standing over me.

"Okay can someone just please tell me what happened!"

"You passed out in the hallway at school." Drew said walking up to the bed.

"Doctors say it's just cause your stressed." My mom said fiddling with my hair.

Stressed? I wasn't stressed. Or at least I didn't think I was. Everything had be fine lately...well maybe not lately but I certainly wasn't stressed.

"Okay well I feel better I can go home now." I tried to get up but the others didn't budge.

"Not just yet Ari, the doctors are still running tests." That was the first thing Kyla had said since I woken up.

"I'm really fine guys-

I was interrupted by familiar voice. Almost too familiar.

"Is everything okay? I tried to get here as fast as possible!"

Izzy.

I looked at him dead in his eyes. I wanted nothing to do with him. He was the reason I was in the hospital right now.

"Get out." I spit out harshly.

"Wait what?" He said with a confused look on his face.

"Get out! Now! Please- someone ju- just make him leave!" Tears begin to run down my face. I didn't want to make myself look weak in front of him but I just couldn't take it. I didn't even realize the flowers in his hands until he dropped them.

"Ari-

"Izzy you know you my boy and all but I think you should just go." Drew said.

And with that he left. I could see the pain and hurt in his eyes. But I just didn't have it in me to care about his feelings. Not anymore.
