Later that night.

I couldn't sleep at all. Everything that had happened was a lot. At the end of the day all I wanted to worry about was if Izzy was okay.

I went downstairs and turned on the tv to take my mind off things. I was watching something on MTV but wasn't really paying attention to it. I wasn't really thinking about anything, I was just sitting there. I looked at my phone and saw a text from Braylon.

Does he know what time it is? It's like 3 in the morning.

Braylon: Hey Arianna...I heard about what happened to Mya..is she okay? How's Izzy holding up?

Arianna: well I mean she is in a coma so she isn't great, and he's okay but it is 3 in the morning so he's sleep...

I wasn't trying to sound mean or anything but he was asking questions that had obvious answers.

Braylon: I really do feel bad..is there anything I can do? If you need to talk to someone I'm here.

I really didn't like where this was heading. I know he's just trying to be nice and all but still.

Arianna: I'm perfectly fine. If anyone needs someone by their side right right now it's Izzy and that's what I'm here for, but thanks anyway.

Braylon: I'm just trying to help...

Arianna: I understand.

I felt like I came at him rudely but I really didn't try to. I was tired and just wanted some sleep.

Braylon: can we meet up tomorrow?

Arianna: Idk we'll see.

Braylon: Hope to see you soon❤️

Was this boy crazy? Sending me hearts and stuff. Like I have a whole boyfriend that I love to death. I didn't even know what to say so I didn't respond.

I woke up that morning at went straight to my room.

"Izzy wake up we gotta go-

He wasn't there.

It was only Friday so we still had school. Was he there? ....no cause he would've woken me up so we could go together. I pulled out my phone and called him.

Isaiah: Hello?

Arianna: hey babe where are you?

Isaiah: I went out to get us some breakfast..I'm guessing your mom already left for work, she was gone when I got up.

Arianna:  awww thank you hun, and were you planning on going to school still?

Isaiah: nope.

Arianna: so we having a chill day?

Isaiah: sounds good.

Arianna: alright I'll see you when you get back. I love you.

Isaiah: I love you too.

That afternoon.

I had really forgot about meeting up with Braylon. We had been texting on and off and he told me to meet him at 6 and it was 5:30.

"Izzy are you hungry?"

"Yeah wanna go get something to eat?"

" I can just go get some Panda Express and bring it back it's fine"

"Great I'll come with you"

He was making this very hard on me.

"Izzy you don't have to come with me everywhere like you say "I got it""

I laughed a little so it didn't sound like I was getting irritated or serious with him.

"Fine"

I met Braylon at a cafe close by Panda. It wasn't a date or anything. Just some friends meeting up.

I walked in and saw Braylon sitting down I his phone.

"Braylon"

He got up and walked over to me.

I reached my hand out for a handshake or something but he pulled me in and gave me a front hug.

"Hey beautiful how are you"

Gosh am I cheating? No...I don't even like this boy. Chill out Ari you gotta man. I kept repeating it in my mind.

"I'm fine"

"I agree"

Braylon smiled then stopped when he realized it had got really awkward.

"Uh how about we go sit"

Someone had to break the silence so I guess it was gonna be me.

We went to a table and started talking about school and what we were gonna do when we graduate.

"I really just wanna play basketball but I don't think that's gonna happen but my actual mind is set on being a doctor."

He didn't say anything, just stared.

"What?"

He started laughing.

"I'm sorry, it's just that you're really pretty....your boyfriends a really lucky guy to have someone like you.

Boy I know.

"Thank you, I should go, I ha-

Braylon leaned across the table and kissed me.

I didn't notice what was happening until I realized how good of a kisser he was.

"I can't do this Braylon, I have to go"

I got up from the table and left.
