I walk down the long dirt trail
That leads to school
At school,
I learn lots of things
Addition, subtraction, and much more
It's so cool to think
That kids much years younger than me
Are learning more complicated things than I am
Mother tells me
Focus my darling,
Focus
I practice with Sister Nahla
At home
On the small chalk board
That father made
Father tells me
Practice everyday,
ask questions
And you will strive
My darling
School is fun
I am so fortunate to learn
Everyday
I love school...
