Darkness
The only thing surrounds me
I reach out
Nothing
The only thing I have
Is the floor
Beneath me
Wisps of air
Flow around me
I look around but all that is there is
Darkness
My knees fall
Hitting the ground
Echoing
Pain shivers through my spine
Terror runs through my mind
Tears weld
Cheeks burn
Get me out of here
Please
I pray that I can find light again
That I won't be stuck
Here
Forever
My body drops
Surrendering to the unknown
Take me now
End me
I pray again
Please,
Please,
Please...
I close my eyes
Hoping that
Anything
And
Everything
Will be alright
Tears roll down my cheeks
The pain gets worse
Please...
But it won't stop
Praying won't help
Hoping won't stop anything
But I keep trying
For what seems like hours
And hours
On end
I open my eyes
Light
The pain goes away
I found it
