The man says

Mother replies with the sun gleaming in her eye
We walk into the main office
Of the diligent apartment building
I look at the elegant marble fountain as soon as we walk in
I sit by the fountain and see coins at the bottom
Free money mother! A gift from father!
I say
I reach to the bottom
And pull out 3 coins

Mother shames me to stop
I give her a disgusting glance
And walk over to the comfortable couch
And pick up a magazine

We go up the mechanical transport
that somehow magically takes us to the second floor of the complex
It dings
I hide behind mother's tall stature
She taps my shoulder to signal
That it is ok
This new home is different
I like different
We get to our apartment
1 bedroom, 1 bathroom
Mother and Uncle
Let me and sister Nahla
Sleep in the bed
My new home
Is better than Afghanistan
But it's stil
Worse...
